Of all the 8 shows you have recommended so far, which one would you recommend the most, in terms of a) heavy on the comedy and action pack aspects and (b) minimal/no romance?

Sweet home sounds interesting, will give it a go soon! May I know if Suspicious Partner and Hotel Del Luna is heavy on the romance side? I like Sell your haunted house and Zombie detective cause the 'romance' aspect is not too heavy, i.e. crushes between the leads rather than a full on love story. I have watched MIU 404, and enjoyed it very much. I really love Japanese detective drama cause it is more on the lighter side. If only K-drama produces more shows like Team Bulldog! That show really rocks! Might give Sweet Home a go since everyone is raving about it! Thanks for the recommendation :)

How funny is this show? Is it too heavy on the romance side?
I like comedy, mystery, action pack, but not a big fan of romance. However, if the romance bit doesn't take most of the storyline, I would most likely give this show a go. Thank you for reading this thread :)

Hehe... I like the statement made by tsutsuloo . I am sure a lot of viewers are hoping for this! (though I personally have not much take on this)

If this show is anything like Zombie Detective however, the show's 'romance' tag is at best a crush and will end on episode 16 as the 2 of them working together without any development on the 'romance' aspect.

Thanks! I just finished the second episode, I hope the story pace will pick up soon. Looks like it is a story with great camaraderie between the characters so I will definitely give this show a few more episodes. I do love a good banter. I initially gave up watching The player after the second episode and The fiery priest on the 6th episode, then tried to watch it again after a couple of months has passed. In the end i enjoyed the 2 shows immensely. I hope I will enjoy this show too!

I prefer for it to be like that. I haven't watch this show by the way but it is on my 'To watch list' as it looks rather funny. Korean dramas put too much focus on the romance angle. I prefer for the main characters to have crushes on each other, i.e. Zombie Detective, rather than it being like a full-fledge love story as it takes the fun out of the storyline. Well, least way that is my takes on things. I gave up watching a lot of Korean dramas because of this.

I have got questions about the ending too, but maybe that's a pre-cursor to season 2? *cross fingers* At least Kurosawa and Sanemura are kicking some *** again together right at the end :D
