Its her choice to do the role or not. Maybe the role is difficult for her who knows. Not every thing is to be…
Lmao. No one's bothering her. I am entitled to say my opinion. And so are you. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

As a drama I liked it.As an Autistic person this can be damaging. A lot of ableist tropes and ideologies throughout…
And no. I don't mind at all that someone says a person with autism. I AM a person with autism. πŸ˜‰

Hm. I'd just like to point out you do not speak for all of autistic people, and this includes myself. WE HATE THAT. Is more like YOU hate that. Just like the show points out. No 2 Autistic people are alike, therefore you can only speak for yourself and not act like a spokesperson for us all. And yes, some of her acting was stereotypical stuff but it was Autistic things. Usually what she does is the lower end of autism. And its a proven fact that majority of Autistic people are boys/men. Females and girls get it but aren't as high as the amount
of males. It seems like you take a lot of autistic things to heart. And maybe you shouldn't. At least this is one show with representation esp since Korea is a VERY, VERY conservative country. So its refreshing to see this from them. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

I'm going to ignore everything else you just put and focus on one part. Don't call it Asperger's. Asperger's does…
Aspergers does exist. And only a few years ago was it referred as Aspergers. I HAVE Aspergers. So I ain't talking out of my ass here. I was diagnosed as A KID with Aspergers. Its only been a few years ago they went and tried to change it to as reference to all as just autism only now. Considering I grew up referring to it always as Aspergers that is what I am going to refer to it as. But thank you for the pep talk. Before you pop off make sure the person you are popping off about Autism too, does not also have autism. Thanks.

Totally agree. In addition, I don't think she said these things in reality. People are starting a feminist campaign…
This is true. I could watch another season, I am still in season 1 and it does a case a episode so I cpuld see it happening. But unfortunately usually Kdramas stop at ep 16. Sometimes go to like 24 woth a whole hour but like that's it. Usually when a drama is a hour long they don't keep it going for very long. At least this is what I have noticed about Kdramas. And I have been watching them for about 6 years now. Its not impossible..but just improbable.

Yeah. We are in a weird society these days. Being a Actress and honestly remembering lines and acting can be hard. I won't dispute that. But that is the line of work they get into. They get paid big money for being in that line of work. Yes, the main character is a aspies girl but it really shouldn't be that hard to cover the character, it's really just like covering any character. Yes, you have to get into the mechanisms of such a way. But again. You have to do that for any role you get.

Nah. Nahhhh. It's a role. It doesn't take it that hard to actually do. It's like any other role. You memorize the lines and character and represent. It's the type of work. If she can't do this then I feel like maybe its the end of the line of being a actress for her. I get it. But at the end of the day she is a actress and this is literally the job of a actress/actor. This is what they must do for every single role. It's no different just because this role is a aspies girl. A role is a role. It's part of the job description.

For - 1. KTO is handsome so when you pair up a handsome fellow with a very simple nice ML, people go bonkers.…
I probably worded it horrible and for that I apologize. I reread it and I can understand how it was misunderstood like I was saying he isn't hot. Because he is very hot. I'd snub him on any given day. 🀣🀣🀣 but I was trying to counter product them. I was trying to explain why he is so hyped up. And honestly his character deserves being hyped up. Just like the female actress deserves being hyped uo for doing a really excellent and well done job with a autistic role.

Its not impossible. But by Koreas dramas standards its highly unprobable.

I think hes also handsome. But I was just trying to put it aside to add a perspective in there without it being about his looks..Lol πŸ˜‚ But yes. It's def more how the character really sensitizes him for her. Simple, nice and Genuine. Also this wasnt in reply specifically to you by the way it was referencing for lov_lymj

It’s so refreshing to see a different romance that’s between an autistic person and a non-autistic person.…
Yesssss! This. People don't realize the romance helps stop the stigma. People with Aspergers (now known as just autism) CAN fall in love, marry and even have kids. They can lkve very filled and well lived lives. I am very appreciative of the realism here. I haven't finished the show yet, but yeah. It's so refreshing to see a drama like this. I love how hes also so reserved about her. And treats her like shes a normal human being.

I feel bad for people who think the romance is unnecessary.
The romance is great. It puts a point to the stigma. People with Aspergers (Now just known as Autism) CAN fall in love, and get married and have kids! They can actually live a completely normal life. I'm not saying all can but most can. And I feel like the romance just shows that.

I don't think its just about being hot. Although I'll bite and say, most people hype up Korean male actors looks. I think he looks decent. But the thing thats hot about his character...ISN'T his looks. It's actually how soft and reserved and gentle he is towards the FL. Thats what makes him hot and stand out as a character. As you saw in the show, most of the guys, at least so far where I am at, Mistreat her in some way. Laugh, pick on her because she is autistic. But you see him, and how he actually sees her as a person, and doesn't do any of that, and gains feelings for her as a person to person. Thats what makes the character hot. And on fire. And worth talking about.

Even if she wanted to do it. I have a hard time believing they would make another 16 episode season.

It's very unlikely there will be a second season since the first season had its 16 eps. That's about the size of a normal korean 1 hour per ep drama anyways.

I am not finished with the drama and still watching it...but about a season 2 and the main female lead not being able to do it mentally? I am so confused because mentally it can't be that hard. It's like every other role. You have to reasearch any role you get into and be able to do it. I think she does a wonderful job. But I'm just saying I don't get the mentally not being able to do a season 2. You are acting as if you have aspergers (Or..they group it all as Autism nowadays). Can you imagine how aspergers feels? This is just a role. Aspergers itself is a lot more mentally taxing. I just don't get it. I feel like she just doesn't want to continue and is using that as a excuse. And anyways Korea is very conservative in itself. Of course you are going to get backlash, you will probably get backlash in every role you get. It kind of comes with the job description. I don't know. Anyways I am not done with first season yet and I am just saying. On the side note, I love the show and think she does a absolute great job. And I absolutely adore the main male lead and how he is normal, and still treats her like she is a completely normal human being. It's wonderful and refreshing to see. Anyways, most Korean shows only go to 16 eps. So I am not surprised it would end at 1 season anyways. In general that is what Kdramas do. About 16 eps. Unless its cut in half as a half hour, and sometimes its a bit longer with a hour but usually no more then 24 at most anyways. So I doubt we would get a second season even if she wanted to do it. I just hope they make more dramas like this with mental illnesses to break 2 things. 1. Stigma. Stigma. Stigma. And 2. Korea's Conservativeness. That's it. I'll report back when done with drama.
