THANK YOU! I was def more emotionally invested with Yurim and Heedo!! Their friendship is worth gold. Like, even when Yurim didn't deserve it, Heedo defended her. Even when the world pitted them together, they didn't let that get between them.

Yessssss, now I understand why she is as she is. Raising poorly her daughter, keeping many details for herself, trying her very best to impress him, being a horrible person, her greediness... It all comes down to her father's abuse and the aftermath of the pain he inflicted on her

I loved her outfit choices on It's Okay, but not so much on this one. The outfit choices on this drama don't favor her petite figure, unlike the green dress that was FIRE!

I'm not excusing her, but sadly I understand where she comes from... Our infancy and raising have an effect on who we will be like once we grow up :(

Regardless of how much a terrible person someone is, like So-Ra, abuse is never excused. Actually, "excuses" someone from their terrible behavior because it comes from the trauma inflicted.
It's reflected on her daughter's raising, because she didn't have an exemplary fatherly figure in her life. Also why she keeps for herself many details (like her daughter still doesn't know how to go to the bathroom), she is afraid of the consequences. We've seen how sadistic his father can be, Sora is 43 yrs old and looks like that doesn't stop him from inflict pain on her.
