Yeah I think the same , why is it illogical if they end up together, I know life is not always about happy endings but it's not about sad endings either. Me myself don't want to watch the same story or same ending (loosing my first love) on screen when it is hard to forget those memories. I came here hoping for an ending which I did not experience. So it will be heartbreaking for me if they won't end up together
