The dragging was so much that they made the ending abrupt. Finish it for Jang Seung Ho. Overall it was good, i didnt feel amy satisfaction for the ending except for the team getting chase
So slow pace with just a simple mediocre case. It isnt that complicated and yet they drag it all the way down with unnecessary scenes and repetitive discussions
The leader of the new Village might be Im Si Wan! I think the leaders of each village cant leave even if theyre body is found. Thomas and Eunsil are leaders of a village and theyre still in.
I think there are 7 villages overall since Thomas said they are 7 of them was ambushed by the Japanese. Each of them have been sent to different villages. Thomas have a friend in Gongdan which is Comrade Jung.
The first leader of Gongdan Village was Comrade Jung as we see in Eun sil's flashback when they send a criminal to a remote island. We can see that Comrade Jung is a friend of Thomas when he gave Eun Sil a photo. If you look closely into it, it was him and Thomas together. That proves that Thomas's friends were sent in different villages that also been staying there for decades same as him.
In the last episode of season 1. We can see that the remains of Thonas and his friends were found. Why is Comrade Jung was sent away and not Thomas? And why is Eun Sil is still there when her body was found?.
The reason why Thomas is still there because he is still the leader. Comrade Jung pass his leadership to Eun Sil before his remains was found. After the discovery of their remains, Comrade Jung finally left. (He wasnt the leader at the time of his departure thats why he was able to leave while Thomas was still a leader).
In the Cameo of Im Si Wan, he might be the leader of the new village in season 3 and might be Thomas Friend too.
In the final minutes of the last episode of season 2. We can see that Jong A finally sees the dead. It might because there is as strong connection of all the characters involve. Jong A was granted the vision because her connection to Pan seuk and wook are strong or might be because she have a connection in a differnt village. I think the deities selected three of them and as if theyre fate was sealed from tge start.
