According to Weibo, seems like the difference is Version (A) - cooler tone, original version and also used in the MV Version (B) - warmer tone, the version that YZ prefers
Producer of Feud (also Bailu's boss), Yu Zheng, mentioned in one of his latest post that he has succeeded in achieving the effect that he wanted to create - "Initially, it seems as if you are watching a story about romance but it unexpectedly becomes a thriller/suspense narration."
Also, according to a VVIP Weibo account who is part of Weibo's drama/film circle, seems like Feud will have a lot of Taoism elements.

This has surprisingly become my favourite drama from BaiLu even amongst her many notable works. Every one of the characters in this drama was brought to life and their stories were so vivid.
This article's writer has narrated our emotions very well while watching this show and while many of us might not have the experience of living or growing alongside a Canal/river, it was really heartwarming to understand how lifechanging such major water networks/resources can be to various families.
Subsequently, the characters' struggles in society despite giving their very best efforts is something that we all can relate to especially coming from lower/middle income families - this reminds us that sometimes even giving your best might not be enough but if you do not give your best, then there is a high chance that you will not be enough.
Would definitely rewatch this and thank you for writing/sharing this article.
Bai Lu's performance for Northward was amazing... those last few episodes made me cry so much... Hoping that she gets to star in more shows like Northward!
Lulu fell sick today 😭 Her voice-cracks during the Keep Running press conference was both funny and heartbreaking... Sending her lots of love ❤️🥰 😻and wishing her speedy recovery!!

Also, you have to follow the Weibo page of Feud before you can vote so I guess it counts as marketing from YZ :)

Praying hard that her next drama project is not too taxing on her body
But anyway, just another proof of the volume of quality works she has produced and people wanting to leverage on her popularity.
