Yuan Xizai (Ji Ling's "template"): Yuan Wuhuo’s younger brother who was a member of the Shilin Sect. He was a kind-hearted person who died or was severely injured during a meteor disaster 150 years ago.
The Connection: The Dragon Deity (Chi Wen/Ji Ling) uses the appearance of Yuan Xizai to maintain the "brotherhood" bond with Li Jie, either to honor their past connection or as part of a larger plan to control the Star Stone's power

Ahhh, tears started as soon as ep 17 started playing. What a powerful series, everything is just so perfectly beautiful and full of emotions. I wish it was longer, I could watch this all day and not get tired of it. I just will continue to run out of tissues. 😭

I got super confused with ep 16!! I had to rewatch a couple previous eps but this one I haven't figured who is who and whatnot. I even asked myself who are these people?? (The people that went into the stone thing to get our mains out) I only knew the adorable weasel guy ..But! I cried like a baby during the whole episode 😭 even the "dad" part when I don't think I've even seen him before, broke my heart!
I love how much emotion is given thru this series, I find myself tearing up almost every ep even after rewatching. Way to go to this crew! ♥️

I had to rewatch it, times they speak lines that are clues or names and I'm like .. uh huh, you're pretty.. and then go wait what? Lmao. I finally got it the second time around 😭🤣

So.... I don't like the King of Dragons. JI LING BROKE NY HEART AND DRAGON BOY CRUSHED THE REST AWAY!!! Why turn him back to live to kill him again and see those horrible thighs? I feel for no one but ji ling here. 😑

I'm sooo into the plot, I have to keep going back bc youku likes to go hella fast with subs lolol. And it's my fav director and so many of my favorite actors (yummy!) I feel like I'm watching a cut off version of FoF lol! When I win it's based off painted skin and I've already seen it so now that I have watched more episodes it's making a little more sense but I don't know how it's going to end I just know the director is amazing and either way I'm not going to be sad because he's just fucking badass. I love all his work.
