Also they can have the drama for only a certain period of time so if they don't air it within that time the drama will go back to tencent and they can sell the broadcasting rights to someone else i hope that happens
Also they was a lot of scandals on HunanTv so yeah a lot of dramas were not aired but this was the longest held i think..

I'm not too sure but I think the main problem is HunanTv. First for some reason they didn't air this drama and then XZ [ Male Lead] had a scandal in 2020 which i think made them postpone it further and also because of all these new rules from the China government. Well lot happened but they could have aired it this year but HunanTv god knows what they are waiting for.

Its their loss honestly but because of their stupidity we fans have to suffer as well and i mean no hate to Longest Promise but this drama needs to air before that especially since it was kept at hold for nearly 3 years like seriously
