There are different types of poems. An Epic poetry like the Odessey tells a story. A story that has a hero's quest, alot of action and at times romance. I think this epic story is an epic poem thus the poetry in the title. That is my guess.

I think in the beginning he took her presence for granted. Now he sees the value of her presence. We see his growth in realizing the importance she had in his world and she realized that she has to be more.

She is a cat with nine lives. I pray she is near the end.
