Sorry too long for me to read your whole comment 😂 in the corporate world, everyone “uses” everyone. I invest in you, what can you give me in return? I hire you, what can you contribute to the company? If HT did not invest in xingchen at the beginning, there would be NO xingchen. Plain and simple. She had to make a choice- do or die. After you make your choice, don’t whine and complain you’re being used.

Nothing to do with women. It’s not a woman attack. She could have clarified with him earlier. Instead, she threw tantrums, avoided him, ran away to hometown, and quit the company!! One mistake?? No… she has to learn and grow up. Sit down and talk calmly and work out their problems.

I don’t think he’s using her as a pawn. HT is letting her decide her own path, run her own company, let her make the mistakes. He can predict, because he is very smart and business savvy. But he doesn’t manipulate her. So saying he’s using her as a pawn is not right imo

I’m just on ep33. The way I see JX’s character from ep 31-33 is disappointing. The scene at his home where he threw the document on the table was heartbreaking for HT. he couldn’t understand why she sees him as a villain. To me JX reacted in a very childish tantrum manner , and what made it worse, she quit!! The writers seemed to want to make us sympathise and feel for her, but sorry … for the first time in cdramas, the ML is absolutely right in his dealings, FL is not. In fact, she doesn’t have a knack for business. She doesn’t understand how much he loves her. I don’t know what she is imagining… all because she believe zeng di words… sigh.
