I understand but there is no fast rule in Xianxia dramas that, couples need to stay on living when the other party dies... they can kill themselves too if they want... our couple in the 3rd life arc is just about 20 years old, still young... but circumstances in that life arc wasnt favourable to XY anyways, her old home destroyed, the man she loved died, hence she took the easy way out... nothing wrong...

Chukong is a man and more strong willed, in the 2nd life arc, a military man... so not unexpected for him to continue living after she died...

Im saying i like the scene, because it was such a powerful scene to me, it grabbed me as i never expected her to kill herself ... and be at peace with it ... amazing writing and scene that one 😄👍🎊

Yes, i didnt get that obervation as well.. i dont think they were stuck in the loop before, we only saw their tribulations after CK came back to repair his energy to fight on the prophecy that Cang Hai will come back in 1000 years...

their love tribulations only happened after they went inside the ^tribulation machine^ .... oh and XY is only 3000 years old in human form after being a cloud for 30k years
