I don't think he is a good person.From what Den said about patients who die in the last episode,they usually remember things in the last 4 minutes of their life that took place before their deaths.Sometimes,however,they may remember these things in different contexts from how they originally took place.I think the other timeline,where Great is goody too shoes,was just his imagination of himself being a good person in the past.
