Okay so I decided to rewatch from the first episode up until today’s episode (ep7), and here’s my theory and…
Very good theory. I also think the code thing could be it and the ghost could represent that sort of ghost in the machine type of idea. Which could be random segments of her code coming together to create something unexpected aka the ghost. I assumed until episode 7 that the police officer was Gyungjun now I'm kind of up in the air about it. I wondered if maybe Joonhee could be the doctor? I thought maybe he volunteered to die knowing he saved himself but wasn't sure if it'd work out. In the real mafia game the doctor can only save people at night so they kind of bent the rules here. I also know in some versions the doctor cannot save themselves so this would defeat my theory but also they may not be following that rule and we already know they bend them a little. If Joonhee isn't the doctor it must be Minha or maybe Dabeom.
OR if he is a citizen, the doctor might still be able to save him righttt
In mafia the game the doctor can only save people during the night. The situation in which Junhee was killed was during the "day" aka the voting period so the doctor is not active (cannot use their "power"). Subsequently the police officer can only search people at night as well. The mafia can only kill at night. Now that doesn't mean the mafia can't work their magic during the day to pin votes on other non-mafia. I am wondering if only one mafia is active during the night? This could be why a mafia killed a mafia during the first night. They simply didn't know (or don't know) who the other mafia are. This could also be because the ghost is possessing them to kill the others or not? I did not expect Junhee to be the first to die of the main cast so I suspect he'll be back or at least I'm hoping so.
is this drama good and should i start it? its on my plan to watch but im already watching so many shows so im…
I like it a lot so far! It's like got All of Us Are Dead Vibes but also the game aspect like Squid Games at the same time. But also completely different.
Ok, where to begin. I am looking at these comment and most of them say they like s1 significantly more than s2…
I do miss the vibe the first one gave a little more and of course I know it was always going to be different once they left the complex but it feels that it's missing it's original vibe. I do know that they diverged from the web toon plot so that could be why but still I feel like the storyline was too rushed and only because there were too many new *main* characters or side characters that we don't really come to care about. I feel like it would be different if they were all in the same place most of the time much like season 1 since all their storylines would diverge at some point and maybe they will in season 3 but for this season it just seems like the story was spread too thin due to too many characters. For one the military characters (aside from Chanyeong) felt unnecessary to add or maybe just add one that's a main character and the other more so a side one? Idk it felt too focused on them at some points and I couldn't find a reason to care about them because the entire time I'm like...what happened to Hyunsoo? Where's Sangwook? What about the dog girl? What about the dog? Jisu died and she's not really brought up again and she was such a key figure in season 1? Sure in real life she probably would've died especially after that attack but wow it was kind of disappointing. However, the story does have its perks. I liked Hyunsoo's character a lot near the end and his monster version coming out is just immaculate. I do like Yikyung's daughter but I dislike the way they made Yikyung and her's relationship. I'm hoping the daughter doesn't turn fully evil but anyway. I also liked Eunyu's storyline even though I wished for at some point during the series for her to mention she was also looking for Hyunsoo alongside looking for Eunhyuk. I also love how we are seemingly going to get Eunhyuk back for a bit in season 3. It was a nice cliffhanger. But it does seem he could be evil?!? Regardless I think if they do season 3 right the enter series will be wrapped up nicely and that they'll all compliment each other.
Altho in the webtoon, she was the heroine but in se2 ,they killed her right? I don't see se2 yet tho.But what…
I thought maybe Park Gyuyoung got more main roles elsewhere so maybe that's why they killed her off but maybe they will bring her back since Lee Dohyun made an appearance at the end??
The only thing I don't like about JK is that he didn't really like her until he found out someone else was interested…
For the “dates” I meant the ones currently going on. Not before he knew of SY and HJ. Yeah I forgot the second spell she used was the white skin one and not the love one so I’m wrong there.

I'm pretty sure she probably said that Nayeon was there over the phone. I think it was just implied that that…
Maybe? I think in her case she was only thinking one sided. It didn’t cross her mind that he could’ve came for her herself. Also I think he was more so shocked that Nayeon was drunk and with her.
People hate on JK, but really even without any supernatural element, he is not behaving all that weird. If an…
The only thing I don't like about JK is that he didn't really like her until he found out someone else was interested in her. Then again this all means nothing if the spells actually work. IF they do then I like him more since it's not really his choice to act that way. He is right in acting the way he is with SY because who wouldn't act that way knowing you're two-timing someone. Although he JK to me seems more like friend material than any romance. Him and FL don't seem to have anything in common given their "dates" and his pickup lines don't align with FL's liking.
I thought Netflix bought this one.. I guess I'm wrong
They originally had the rights to it but I'm guessing the long time gap and change of cast made them pull out of the deal? I feel like I remember it doing well in its original run though so I feel like they should've stuck it out. I know I'm not wasting money on Disney+ to watch it. I'll just find it elsewhere. It's super annoying.
Why didn't they show any evil spirit inside Gelly ? She was just screaming.
I think it's because they weren't near/in their territory but then again it could just be that they did it because it was "dark" inside the shipping container or because they wanted to throw us for another ringer for something that doesn't connect lol.
No it’s not just you, I also hate the cackling voice. It’s too much and grating on my ears.
I feel like it makes the evil spirit sound less eerie/scary/creepy and more comedic? Which defeats the purpose for me. Like the image of it and the voice are contradicting!
