I will be honest I have never like noona romance but WHY HER changed my perception on this genre. Gong Chan and SooJae despite the age gap that exist btw the characters brings out the romance and chemistry that should exist btw FL and ML. Moreover I love SooJae strong and decisive character. Yes she is weak but she is also a fierce and self made woman who has learned that if u want something, u need to fight for it. Maybe Gong Chan will be her saviour in a sense....
HB is my most fav Thai drama. It does not entail any exaggerating and superfluous acting. All actor's played their role perfectly well. Both FL and ML portrayed such a good chemistry both as kids and adults. The actor playing the Brother was absolutely amazing; shifting from the guy to the sis acting was executed perfectly well. Push was also great at portraying the longing and regret of his first love and the childish acting when reunited with her even in her brother's body was amazing to watch. It emphasises the saying 'Love is beyond the physical' . The FL was refreshing to watch. There was no unnecessary shouting but a calm girl trying to understand her past and revisiting her relationships with all. Someone said there was too much crying but I have to argue it was not too much but just the right amount. Why? Because it was necessary. The drama itself full of angst, regret, guilt and hope. These four words should be enough to understand why the crying was absolutely necessary. Additionally, this drama shows one that every action has a reaction... It is a worth watching drama...so don't miss it. I have watched it at least 4 times and today will be my fifth...

If we go by the book itself the queen takes over his body in the modern world but the drama takes on a slightly different premise. In a sense, the Queen is still there a least subconsciously influencing his feeling, attitude and behaviour towards the King. To say, he fell in love with the king will be too deep but at the very best, he develops a deep friendship with him which is also influenced by the queen's co existence in the same body. Side by side, the drama shows u that the queen's love is not to be undermined in the story and thus forced us the audience not to forget. He does come to 'love' King but within the limits of friendship. Anything beyond friend zone can be argued to be partly because of alcohol, female subconscious intimate desire and the King subtle but fierce desire for the queen. However, to go as far as to say, he like guys, that's a no because back in his own world, he does not change as per the ending ...
Either u will love it or hate it. Personally, I liked it compared to most. Some have said no chem btw the leads but I beg to differ since I found the chemistry between the FL and ML exploding especially when the girl start to show more loving interest in PHS. About the story itself, at first It was engaging and as others have pointed out, it does get less interesting in the middle but I have to argue that the leads acting does make up for it. So the drama does not get to a point of no return. Eventually, this drama is up to ur personal liking.
Although I would like to rate this drama as bad because it was a mess.... I can't simply because the second part make up for the first part. The first half of the drama was a mess I mean the whole plot was all over the place atleast in my opinion however the second half especially as the ML and FL start to interact more and became more open with each other totally make up for the beginning. It totally saved tbe whole drama Irrespective of the whole plot, all actors whether supporting or main delivered their role really well. Chan and Mr. Dong relationship was really a big hit.... And Chan's friends and Jennifer was really good in their character portrayal. Inoverall, the drama is worth the watch if one ignores the mess at the beginning...
