a detective drama with supranatural criminal cases. a good portion of typical japanese slapstick humor, a manga-ish cinematography, an explosive chemistry between Toma and Sebumi. The glorious final battle vs Ninomae is very climax with a dramatic cgi effect.

tho, I'm still dissaprove with the very last finale battle with the true villain. Sebumi shoot the tooth bullet by his mouth, and Toma reveal her self-sewn left hand, left me a big WTF moment.

but overall, SPEC still very bizzare, yet great drama!

can someone recommend me other drama with similiar type?? crime, procedural investigation with dark atmosphere

Legal High getting better in the second episode, they back on the right track after being too draggy, unfunny and overdramatic in the first episode, I dont recall Legal High being a melodrama,,may you watch the 2nd eps soon, funnier than the first ep

I think I have quite similiar taste with you, your fav kind of genre, I also dislike melodrama, horor and medical drama, but still watch some very light drama (rom, com, family drama)to balance with the amount of heavy drama I watched, tho I'm only watch Jdrama, kinda rookie in dramaland. well, yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Be prepared for the last episode

I'm started become fans after he was retired, and was thought that he wouldnt made a comeback to industry. The news about him comeback made me happy. a great and respectable man, retired at the peak of his career to take care his wife. and i'm looking forward him to do drama rather than movie. well, i have checked the new trailer of Kuroshitsuji, he's very cool! I miss his voice, very gentle!

how long did it take for you to start fighting for your job after watching drama??
Drama sure did inspired me (esp JDrama) but I'm easy to get depressed, when I start going down again I will comfort myself by watching drama to get inspired again. in my case I really need a daily dose of drama to make me confident to start the next day.

depressing for me, the whole episode used to be lighthearted, I didnt expect the last ep will come out like that, and the feeling when inapyon finally met sorai, but sorai didnt show any emotion, is kinda frustating
