# I have not watch the glory

Okay.... I have not watch the (I don't plan to watch ) , so I can't talk about, but concerning the long ballad the only draw for his the main actress (dilraba) . Although when I watched the long ballad, I was still enchanted by costume cdrama, hence I did not really analysis the quality of the drama... Have you watch brocade odyssey? If you answer is no... I will like to test your no dropping drama policy with this particular drama..

Not much to write... This is drama is different from Bai Lu's past costume drama.... In this drama her character has more depth... Since I started watching cdrama I have never watch her play a costume drama character with this layer of complexity... She is vulnerable, weak, yet she is still strong to fight threats from various antagonist in the drama... This is probably going to be one the best cdrama in 2026 and that say a lot . Because at this time last, there way so many gems of dramas that have aired or airing... This year in my opinion is one the worst year for cdrama (costume) .. Most of the drama I have watched are not terrible, they are just below expectations...

Yeah... You are right... At the moment I am watching other drama, but I hope to finish the drama in the future... "I never drop a drama once I've started" are you sure , you can continue with this policy because they are some cdrama that are just so horrible, i am not sure you can watch them...

The drama is interesting, but way and manner they expose Lui PEI and his daughter is just so fake... You are able to fake the poisoning of the emperor, fake framing of
Cui Xing Zhou just to expose him ?It is just so unrealistic.The writers ran of ideas to end the drama and came with this? How disappointing...

I understand your point, but my issue is that , it was not properly shown to the viewers... his father(Xiao Xun) only appear few times in the drama ... His role is limited. He only gives him advise and of course he doesn't listen to advise...

This drama is not terrible, but is not very good either... I liked the beginning (I was expecting a Kunming palace vibe)... The main character, Chu Zhao is just all over the place... How can you be the grand princess, the one who is supposed to safeguard the throne for the young prince, Yet She left the Prince alone in the palace where you have people that want to kill him... Also , what gives her the power to take over command of her father's troops/soldiers... How can she command troops when has no military achievement...

‎Furthermore, how can the villain Xiao Xun , Xie Yan Fang who are very young yet have more power than older ministers in imperial... The way in which the main antagonist manipulate and influence events is just ridiculous...

You are right... I thought I was the only one that felt the relevance of the FL was overstated... She went from a pig butcher to a general which just ridiculous...

just finished watching this drama. It is one of the best cdrama released in 2026 . Yet they are things I found perplexing while I was watching the drama
1. ‎The FL , Fan Chang Yu relevance was overstated... Her character development moves from zero to hundred (from a pig butcher to a general) . How she is able to kill one of the best Warriors (Prince Changxin) and only have an arm injury is ridiculous... She is reckless, impulsive and stubborn.. Her reckless decision to expose herself to Sui Yuan Qing , led to the massacre of the people in her town ...
2. ‎They were too many villains in the drama. They were four characters who were villains - Qi Min / Sui Yuan Huai ,Sui Yuan Qing ,Prince Changxin and Chancellor Wei which are too many for a 40 episode... Because of the limited episode (restricted from China's television administration) the ending of some of the villains felt rushed...

‎      In hindsight, I believe the drama is overated... I am not saying the drama is bad , but the hype did not matches the drama . Unlike a drama like Prisoner of beauty while the hype was worth it..

I tried watching this drama because of Bai Lu ... But I just couldn't continue watching it ( I stopped at episode 28) .. They are many flaws/hole in this drama,but what really pissed me off is the character "Qin Zhi Yan" .. From her introduction in the drama she was just atrocious, useless and always provoke dangerous situations for the ML and FL ... I tried, but I don't see myself watching more than 20 episodes of this pure madness...

It is obvious Bai Lu was drained/tired during the filming of this drama.. She gave her all , but something was missing in her acting..This has to be Bai Lu worst drama ever... The fight scenes are below par and some the investigating action in just ridiculous....The scene where Xiao Huai Jin create a opening with his fingers and look through that hole to find a clue to solve the case is just ridiculous... Are you telling me that , the opening created with his fingers is as effective like a telescopic device? Even the main villain is just not that interesting or makes any sense to talk about... The drama was just atrocious, I refused to watch the last episode... What a waste of time and talents... Pathetic...
