I love love this movie so much. Having seen the 1983 drama, the music was very nostalgic. The fight scenes were incredible. I definitely wish it was longer so the relationships can be more fleshed out. I had no problem following the storyline because I know it so well but my husband who knew nothing about Condor Heroes did have some questions afterwards. My friend who has never seen a C-drama or C-movie loved it and said XZ is the best thing about the movie. I really wish Sony put in some efforts in promoting the movie overseas. I must’ve told at least 10 different people to go see it and none have heard it was in theaters.

The worse thing about the movie is not being able to go to the restroom because I didn’t want to miss a thing!

He’s so great in The Rebel Princess. Amazing performance.

Yeah the beginning when she was supposed to be 15 was too ridiculous. They should’ve gotten someone younger. With that said, once I got over the age thing and pretended she was in her 20s then I was able to enjoy the drama. I just finished it and really liked it. The costumes were especially amazing. It looks like they had a huge budget.

I binged all weekend and now all caught up and this drama is so good Omg. The only way this drama is not gonna end up being a 10 for me is if the main leads have a sad ending.

Lol so many are watching for Alen Fang judging from the comments here. I hope he gets ML role soon. Although I will say the ML here is doing great job too.

Just on Ep4 and Alen Fang character is hilarious. I love him. This drama is doing a really good job with all the characters interaction. I’m really pleasantly surprised cuz I dropped a lot of dramas lately and this looks like a winner.

I didn’t watch TTEOTM but I know everyone hate her in that. She was super annoying in Lotus Casebook though. Every time she appeared I would roll my eyes so hard,

Only just finished Ep 4 and agree, he’s entertaining. I was not expecting this comedic role. Actually the drama has a good mix of serious and comedy.

Just started watching and SURPRISE, Chen Duling is in this as the Empress 😫 it’s like I’m cursed cuz she keeps popping up in things I want to watch. She was the WORST in Lotus Casebook. I hope she doesn’t have much screen time in this cuz I’ll be suffering.

I really started watching this for Alen Fang who I really liked in The Longest Promise. He hasn’t shown up yet but so far both main leads are impressive, it’s my first time seeing them in a drama. Will continue watching.
