If you're referring to this story...yes, it has a happy ending. The first 20 chapters of the novel are very good (personal opinion). I hope they include them in the drama.

Honestly, don't expect a super innovative plot because it isn't; this is an old-school romantic comedy. Personally, what I found interesting about the story (I read the novel) is the development of the main characters.
