Okay sooooooo I feel like I’m going to be the odd ball with my comment, anyone who wants to throw tomatoes 🍅 and eggs 🥚 at me I totally understand and no hard feelings! Okay so here we go! I absolutely LOVED the first season! Best thing to happen to media in my opinion. That said, with this second season and I must say these are ONLY my first ☝️thoughts from quick peeking, I wanted to get a feel for what I should be expecting BUT I haven’t actually watched the available episodes fully from start to finish yet. But from what I’ve seen so far here are my concerns… first of all I totally miss the original actors for the two main leads 😞. I think the new actors are really trying their best but for me they’re just not the characters like last season. Next! I’m really angry about what they did to Yangcha’s design… they changed his hair! And clothes and I mean I might sound petty but I really thought he was so hot! And now they just 😖 messed up the way he looks too! Then! Who thought it was a good idea to kill Mubaek in the SECOND EPISODE?! Just ridiculous in my opinion!… so only the villains look like their gonna be the same so I’m darn mad!… anyways! Yup that was my rant! I might change my opinion once I’ve seen more…

Excellent point indeed. I hope they are fighting to publish the series! The thing is, there is corruption in the world, and this story from what I understand, is making the point to be against those evil things, and promoting to stand for what is right etc. If that is the case, that is a wonderful message! Omg I just don't get it! I really hope there is enough pressure, and the show is released anyways. 🤦‍♀️

I have to applaud the writers and directors of these series for being able to maneuver around the censorship and still find ways to satisfy us viewers, I know that can't be easy. I totally agree, a lot of actors really gained more popularity (probably both domestically and worldwide) after being in a BL drama, it's bc they have a certain kind of charm and charisma that is uniquely addictive.. and beautiful. 🥰

An actor is good when they're ale to convey a deep emotion, affection and love, without it being written in the script (like THAT) or having those scenarios to help portray the relationship, but just through eye connection, expressions etc. and making it where the audience can read the character's minds lol 😅. But it sounds like everything was cohesive enough to make a good production. It was said in the comments here, that Bai Yu would have been great in JITD as captain Luo, so I anticipate seeing him! 😃

Ya know that is more than likely what happened, because you can see how now writers and directors are getting more clever/creative with how they convey BL innuendos etc. …sometimes they do a really good job... as of now, the Untamed wins for best BL Easter eggs imo 😏
