LBAFAD is so good too. The OST was definitely better couldn't stop listening to it. I love the morally grey ML compare to righteous one. That's really sad, I was always curious about his past. He seemed the most chill but he is the one to be the one holding the F4 together because they are the only ones making him truly happy and he really cares about their opinion. He was the one who was the most hurt when he thought F4 will fall apart and fell apart at that thought. It makes sense his character will say that. That character never really get angry compare to the others but he seems to be holding a lot.
I have to say this version of Hana Yori Dango is the best. It's the only version ML lead character apologies properly to the one he bullied which I really liked. The only version all F4 characters have a part and you understand why they are friends. Not just ML and SML and the other are there for decorations. I was shocked MJ character was more involved then all the other version combined. My favorite version up until now has been the Japanese version , nothing beated that one for me not even the Chinese one.
Of course it was it's downside. I feel 16 episodes were short or maybe it's just the pacing. Toward the second half it felt a bit all over the place. I wish there was more scene between the leads like the Japanese one. I wish the sister of ML was more developed. I liked Japanese version of the sister since she was more baddass.
The memory lost scene , in every adaptation I hate it because I hated sunshine girl more then every other villain in the whole franchise. I am so glad that character was cut out. They really shorten it.
