Guess I'll never get to watch this drama. oml. Almost a year since i watched the first few episodes to no subtitles to most of the other episodes. Ridiculous.
I see a lot of people disliking this season. I love it so far. Happy Logan is alive. Doubt OYH will be back considering her body. Though I didn't really like OYH's character, kinda liked her this season. Honestly liking the season, only down side is waiting week to week rather than 2 episodes a week ;-;
I was happy and started thinking what timeline (like 2 months later or smth) we are on and then *boom*
Riiiiiiight!!! I was so happy then sad, Logan is my favourite character ;-; I'm hoping he some how got out of there.. but ahhh.. then when SSR said she had something to tell him all i was thinking like "omg are you pregnant!!!" oml lol.. who knows right? But I really hope he's alive ;-; but low key, for some reason I thought the guy he brought back to Korea was SSR first husband, so I'm re-watching it to see if its him LOL
TBH when the show started and Logan came into it, I was so happy.. I was clapping and yelling "YESSSSS HE DIDN'T DIE" then it showed the scene again and i was covering my eyes like "awww i can't watch this scene again"
I don't think I could have asked for a better way for Jun Woo to die. Though I was sad when Han Seo died. The way they left it seems there could be a possible season 2, if there is I'm so for it!
Eveeeeery week, I check for a release date... everyyyy week Im sad... Everry week I wish June was here already. I have waited for this series since it was said it was happening. ;-;
That was so good & different. The main character was brave and had amazing friends. It gave me some positive energy…
Here is the theory I posted 2 months ago
MY theory on the ending.
If you watch how Shin acts before standing on the side of the street and to the thoughts he was thinking. I think it was obvious he intended to do it. He noticed how happy his family was, his friends was. But in the end, he still has lingering thoughts over Keng after 5 years. I don't think Keng was there, I think Shin imagined he was. Cos before hand he tried his best to avoid meeting Keng after the rape. Why would he walk towards him? So my thoughts is, he wanted to reinvent himself into a happier Shin, but in the end he couldn't. So why he stood there looking around and thinking of what he could have told Keng, but he decided to end it. That way it was all over, That was what he wanted before he tried committing suicide the first time. Also the fact that his friends were worried he'd try it again moments before he did. (Not to mention, when they both looked back at Shin and waved, I thought they were about to be hit by a car, cos I dunno, that scene made me think it was a goodbye. Maybe this is partly the reason I think Shin was planning on doing it.) If you think about it, Shin admired Keng. His idol. Who he wished to be. Then become a close friend. Someone he wanted to avoid after everything about the rumors to help Keng, not himself. So I think he was trying to say if he explained his feelings better - how he idolised, trusted and cared for Keng as a close friend and brother, the beating and rape might not have happened. ADDED WHILE COMMENTING: If you also think about it, he wanted to finish collage before the suicide attempt. But when it was done, he decided he fulfilled his dreams of finishing. His family were back to be happy and moving on with their lives. His friends were happy and together. So it was just him left who wasn't happy and I think the only way for him to truly be happy was to end his suffering of everything he went through. He always wanted to forget it and move on with his life, but deep down his mental state was so bad nothing but dying would help him forget. Its a sad ending, and I wish he got justice for everything. But it really shows that this is a cruel reality that does happen because of rape and that not everyone is strong enough to over come it. So Keng might have been across the road, but because he was so mentally unstable, he wanted Keng to know even after all the years that had past, it still haunted him. So he killed himself in front of Keng. I wouldn't say they both died, because that would be an easy out for Keng.
I think your theory is right because remember how when they are sitting down Shin says he wants to make a lot…
OOOOOOOHHH I just thought of another theory, MAYYYYBE Keng was there, and he wanted Keng to see how much he was hurting. So he killed himself right in front of Keng. ooooh

Very true. If you also think about it, he wanted to finish collage before the suicide attempt. But when it was done, he decided he fulfilled his dreams of finishing.
