the novel story not same as the series.
in the novel, SF was small deity who fall in love with Bai lin aunty.
Bai lin create god of war with the look like his aunty. Aunty pass away... they din mention why she pass away in the novel.

Then one day SF see God of war being sent to tribulation and he follow her.
in the series, the love story between Xi xuan and god of war are well made compare to novel.
