It has been on my ptw since it came out. I couldn't find it in me to get into it with all the hype. but after reading the reviews now and also since I don't very much like kim soo hyun except for his role in it's okay to not be okay (where honestly seo ye ji was a major factor to boost the drama), I just won't watch it.
Aaah!! Nooo! I mean I have nothing against her but I want to see Ji Hyun. And I wanted to see more of her chemistry with Ahn Bo Hyun. Plus I really liked her portrayal of the character. Changing the lead actress (who is so talented and great) would change the entire feel of the show... With shows like this the character relationships (mains and subs) are very vital to keep us interested. And Ji Hyun is a major role
Really love her role in love to hate you. Her action scenes flow so naturally. Really great portrayal overall expressions, tone of delivery and everything. I plan to watch Arthdal - it just requires a different kind of mood to watch and invest time in. I have several other of her dramas on my list
I tried watching this drama some years back, put it on-hold on episode 4 and now after some I restarted and finally completed it in one go. The first time - I got bored, couldn't relate, mindsets and tastes change over time. Rated it at 7.5.... I really want to share what my thoughts on this drama. Why I liked it: ---The romance wasn't the part I loved - it was comfortable. But what I truly loved was the company atmosphere explored here. The character relationships between coworkers. The topic of divorce and the separation explored here (yes it wasn't terribly deep but it matched the lighter tone of the drama; it was well presented with the thoughts and reasons or lack thereof and emotions involved in such a setting). ----The settings being in a publishing company and world of book is what I'm very interested in because I love books and I love writing. It inspired me to write again. I really like dramas with beautiful quotes and wording. ----The most relatable was the start of the drama and struggle of a married woman with a child needing to start anew after a long career break. It really is so relatable and painful. But the FL's resilience, character and initiative was inspiring. ----Every single actor from the main to supporting cast and bit parts acted so well and portrayed so naturally that the experience became very immersive. Like living life in the story itself. So, to the team that was involved in the entire process, I want to give the biggest applause. ---I also really loved the last bit with Kang Byeong Jun’s message
The parts I disliked or were strange to me: I loved Song Hae Rin's character a lot, but it seemed that they got lazier with her writing and role in the latter half. I loved the way they she handled her work and loved the way she portrayed her feelings and friendship but she really wasn't given justice. Going on for so long only to push her out when he finally got into a serious relationship. Of course, I can think of some reasoning like wanting to keep the friendship and coworker relationship smooth and intact but if he had rejected her earlier nicely and been frank about it, it might have been better. ---Second, they introduced the daughter Jae Hui but her interaction was so minimal, how can a young child live apart without any visits from parents and barely any interaction. Besides, living your life is fine but shouldn't she know about it if you're getting into a new relationship. They either shouldn't have put in this element or put it up a bit better. It's a really oddity. ---Also, kind of felt like the Seo Jun and Hae Rin things felt forced. Friendship was good and all but going so fast to romance - not a good idea

I loved some parts of the chinese version but some parts didn't make as much sense. However, I found the characters and overall much better in chinese ver . Going t watch this one now
First time I've seen her acting and I'm impressed. She is good. WOW!. Why have I missed out on her until now. Not only are her expressions great, the action scenes also flow so naturally. I'm just sad she has so few drama roles. I mean yes Arthdal chronicles is there and I haven't watched much of it but I like her role there. Problem is I didn't like the drama initially (specially the starting personality of the main character Eun Som) so I haven't had the courage to keep watching it. I will have to try again. Dark hole is on my list. Ahh!!! again she's a gem!
