There r lot of actors who have much more charisma than him.but he is preferably good in historical dramas.

Allen Ren acting is only top notch in under the power.otherwise one n only is good.but I don't like forever n ever.i think everyone is complaining about this drama.

I think u r right that palace drama is not so popular.but I don't agree with u the fact that the main leads have lack of chemistry.i really like Cheng yi n Zhang yuxi s chemistry so far.this is a palace drama so didnt have much romance scenes or romantic angles.but I really like their chemistry.
