@Shahd no she is not. The female lead does stand up to the emperor that is why she breaks up with GYX. He is using him for his killing machine. When GYX stands up for SQ’s family, the emperor brings them down. He is going to destroy them. HZ knows that the emperor will not stops so she breaks up with him. After they break up, he lets SQ’s family go. The emperor is mean. Wait to you see what he does to the family. Horrible!

Ok, I am watching Li Xian in another drama right now. Shooting Stars which is amazing! This one, I am trying to get into but has anyone watched episode 4? If so, was there a glitch or what? You see them on the motorbike. He asks her for her crutch, they jump off and both run to, I think a guy taking a girl, then we switch to two dogs playing. What was that? Then when they come back there is no mention of what happen. Did I miss something?
omg the mother has too much storyline. Not even sure I want to finish this drama anymore

Over the emperor. That man is just one loony tune. All that drama so he could break up HZ and GYX. Seriously? But I think Mama Dowager is going to step in somehow and help them out. I hope so because the emperor just needs to get killed by someone.
But I am glad to see that HZ gets what is going on and for her to choose to say, we can't be selfish, that was huge. I can't wait to see what GYZ also because he loves her.
I love my couple -- SY and SH. They are such a good match. I was glad to see that when his friends came in, SH just did his job and did feed into what they were trying to do. But when you have someone like SY, she handled that for him. My gurl!
All the other girls getting married off were good matches as well. I was sad to see that Ling didn't tell her scholar that she liked him or vice versa. Maybe they will meet again somehow.
Who is this new threat on the horizon. Wonder who is backing this chick to causing all this chaos.
I have finished this drama. I can say that it was definitely an exceptional short. They put a lot into those 22 minutes. Like both the ML and FL. But the ending...
