Can we talk about all the sneaky, shady, shit that went on today. The scheming was off the chain.
First of all, SRQ needs slapped. I have gone beyond loathing him. I downright detest this man. You see, QB and PWX need to get onboard and stop thinking about how they handled things in the past because this mofo got some traps and plans all over the place. Annoyed with him.

How did you like PWX fainting in the ensemble. I was like, that is the best way to handle it. But he really was shocked. I knew that when SY was listening in on her Daddy and SRQ's dad, I knew they were setting her up. Dang didn't QB fall in it.

But our girl was on point wasn't she. She played that Daddy card today. I was so proud of her. She was trying to get those tears out but the shakiness of her voice, that did it all. Let's give it up for Daddy Emperor's sidekick eunuch. Yeah, he knows what is going on. Glad he is whispering in his ear telling him he knows there is more going with PWX's appointment. Ok, sidekick eunuch we are counting on you to keep Daddy Emperor on point with all this intrigue.

Let's go there shall we. This was Daddy Emperor's moment. You know I love me some Daddy Emperor. Yes, talk about slapping a bitch. Daddy did it didn't he. He said, "Look, don't play with me. I will cut you down with a quickness. I made you and I can break you. Step out of line again. You said you wanted to be my blade, then you better get right. If not, I'll melt you down like how the wicked witch of the west met her demise. You feel me."

Well, you saw the look on CR's face didn't you. Girl was having none of that beatdown. Next best thing. Oh, I'm going to start poisoning your ass. You need to go because you are getting in the way of the plans that I have for Prince Su. Yep, time for you to be gone. You know that is what she is going to do after she ask one of her maids about it.

Ok, so we have CR still scheming. Something about a talisman that is Daddy Emperors favorite gets thrown into the mix. A trap no doubt laid down by SRQ. But QB tells PWX that he has to stay loyal, and she will DIVORCE him. I cannot with this plan of hers. Oh, PWX goes off. He tells her she takes power over feelings. You all can't wait for the action in this one. He is all over her. Goodness!!!

There makeup is epic. They are back together. Ok, so QB knows SRQ is back, but he is different. In his mind this is the only way to protect her. Really? He is trying to push PWX into a corner so that he divorces QB. If so, that is considered letting her down so he will have to die. Say what? Yep, so he can marry her. I can't. Can we please give SRQ a marriage already.

This was enjoyable. Like the ML and FL and the SML and SFL. Everything had nice pacing, storyline and it was a good watch.

Can we PLEASE get rid of ZD? Really, I blame HT. He needs to draw a line in the sand with their relationship, and I used that term loosely. He needs to stop having her due this impromptu drop off of food, etc. She is a snake. You saw her scoping out the place. I can't wait until he gives her the ultimate smackdown. I can't stand her.

Then JX bestie. Yep, she is going to start her play on SYC. I feel it coming.

JX was too funny being drunk. You know we all have had our "drunken" moment. She had me cracking up.

Love how HT didn't want to give up the sweater. But you saw how JX's mama was looking at him. She knows that he likes JX. When you have mama on your side, and she likes your man, it's all good then.

I told you Princess Hua Le was coming into play. Sure, enough here she is. Yeah, don't you think that Consort Rou is going to push for a marriage with her and SRQ. We know the princess likes him, so I won't be surprised if CR pushes this marriage. But you know SRQ is going to push back because he still has the illusion of being with QB aka Li Rong.

But let's talk about the banquet.

You know I'm going there...Daddy Emperor. Did you see him walking out looking good with his robes on today! But alas, I have to get on his case. Stop humiliating LC! Dang. I was so annoyed with the sideway comments that he kept giving him. Did you see CR smiling all stupid because Daddy Emperor complimented her son, Prince Su. Annoyed.

Then we had who is going to outshine whom in the ensemble. We had Princess Hua Le wanting to play for the banquet, but she needed accompaniment. She asked SRQ to play. But he was too busy thinking about the past and how he and QB jammed when they were with LC and the troops. They had to boost their moral during the war, so they played the same song they were getting ready to play at the banquet.

Jumping in to say the situation, QB says she will play the qin for her. But wait, we have Prince Su who says he is going to give us his best sword dance while they played. Yeah, whatever.

Princess HL gave us her best Lizzo on her flute, but she was brought down by QB playing the qin. SRQ sees that QB will embarrass the princess, so he gets on the drums and starts banging it out. Well, we have PWX not feeling none of this because SRQ is giving too many coveting looks to QB. So, guess what? He snatches up the erhu and shocks everyone that he can play. Yeah, I was cheering for PWX. He was like, "Hell naw SRQ. You think you are going to one up on me. That is not even happening." Get it PWX. Poor Princess HL she was so not knowing what was going on. They all stole her thunder, pretty much.

But you know that PWX had to jump on SRQ after they were done. My man went there, "Look, I don't know how many ways I can tell you but I'm going to try, just one more time. Stop trying to get with my wife. It is about time, since you are about the same age as me, to get married. Do you need some help finding a wife? Happy to help you out my man. Because the looks you keep giving my wife, so not cool. Check yourself. Ok. Me and MY wife have to go home because (sneaky look) we have things to do. Deuces!" Yeah, he hit back HARD on SRQ. You know he does not hear a word of it.

Now, SY and SR. I still say these two, are going to have a falling out yet. She asks him why he joined the Inspectorate Office. You heard the answer, right? His brother wanted him to come. See, put a spy unbeknownst to his brother that he is to keep an eye on them. She is somehow going to tell him something and he is going to go back and tell SRQ. She will realize she did. Their relationship if they do finally have one, will be ruined.

Poor LC. I am feeling his pain. Daddy Emperor just way too harsh on him in front of everyone. I know it will make him stronger. I hope it doesn't change his personality. Can we please bring back my girl XC.

This upcoming episode is all about Daddy Emperor. He is banging tables, screaming at folks. They give PWX a position of Vice Minister of Personnel which ticks off Daddy Emperor. Consort Rou is causing angst with QB over the Inspectorate Office and how she is going to take it away from her with the help of SRQ. Then we have father/daughter fighting and how he thinks she has too much power and what she does for PWX. But Daddy Emperor gets Consort Rou and slaps her hard. Yes.

@SwathiShankar it really is your choice on how you like watching dramas. My preference is I watching each episode. Others like to watch all at once because they don't want to wait for the next episode. When they do offer the "express package" then definitely I will watch it instead of waiting. Again, your choice.

It was her overall personality. It had nothing to do with her being smart or her IQ. It really was a pretty lame drama. No chemistry with the leads. She just didn’t make me believe the change in her.

Tarot isn't out yet. Red Swan yes on Disney but I watched the first 2 episodes on Hulu. I'm watching My Sweet Mobster now. I am on episode 3. Then I'm watching Miss Day and Night. I am watching about 14 dramas now. Then Monday Lost You Forever 2 is out so, I'll be watching that.

@mjcsfla1 I wish they would do a time jump. We need to get her back to being PDR because her garble talk, drives me crazy.

My prediction with 19 episodes left will be around episodes 35-36 because you heard her mention her memory won't come back. That is a hint that it is returning sooner rather than later. If not then, maybe around 40 which would leave 10 episodes.

We still are going to have to deal with:
- GJT finding out that PS is the son of JSY and the brother of MR. We have to have a couple of episodes on that. Oh, and dealing with the rest of GJT's family especially GJD finding out that he is related to PS.
- Something happening on set that PDR gets hit or falls in water, or something when she is with GJD her memory is jogged.
- GJD ditching the chick that he went all out for only to diss her again when he finds out about PDR.
- Dealing with her getting her memories back and dealing with all of her family particularly her mother.
- Her mother stabbing her in the back again and setting her up with GJD.
- PDR and PS getting back together only to have GJD and her mother mess it up again.
- Wedding.

Your thoughts?

Everyone should have had a "cooling" off period. All this running back and forth from JSY, MR and the grandmother was too much. They just exasperated the situation even more. The endless "I'm sorry" from JSY wasn't doing anything but just ticking people off more.

She deliberately chose KSY to raise PS. Just confess that is what she did, stop apologizing for what in hindsight she made a conscious decision to do so. With that decision, she now has to deal with the ramifications of that. JSY is going to get to the point where she is going to stop apologizing and get angry because for her, she feels that she has apologized enough.

The grandmother again, needs to stay in her lane and basically shut up. I can't stand her constant interference. They tell MR not to come to their house, then she goes to their house. Everyone stop!

Now, eventually GJT will find out. Sooner rather than later because we do not need to drag this out anymore.

PS instead of trying to see how he feels is pretty much consoling both of his mothers in his own way. Even though he is ticked off at his biological mother he still agreed to see her. In time, things might get better but that is slim to none at this point. You see PS is going about his life, as both mothers need to as well. This is about his feelings.

I guess we will now see GJD back in full crazy mode.
