Well, we all binged those 6 episodes. I felt like the opening; something wasn't right at first but got back on track.
Here we go. 1. We have crazy Mama Qin that is dealing in the dark arts. Trying to have her son stay on the throne, while she really rules. 2. Can we all agree that his younger self was as cute as could be? Loved those parts. 3. Already we can see that LS has one of her men that likes her. We can see how that will go. 4. Screaming for all the fine men. When I saw BWJ as Sima Jing...done!
Let me tell you, he is looking FINE!!! When he changed, getting all blued up like he was one of the X-Men, thinking Mystique. I was so done but wait, we had to go the hair, people, the white hair (made think of my general in Blossom), oh, we could not forget the mask (borrowing one from my peeps from Love in Pavillion) the Tony Stark heart piece. Child, the man was showing that chest looking all good.

I'm sorry but she had me cracking up with that taser. I am liking this so far. I think they are well suited. I see no missteps here at all. I feel they have chemistry. Everyone just stop trippin. Enjoy it. If you don't like it, then just move on to the next drama. Plenty others to watch.
My only thoughts are two: 1) even if he could not see him, you should recognize his voice 2) is it me or what is up with the kissing. If you are in heat, come on now, you would be getting the groove on. Just sayin.
YZ was always on my last nerve. She is not doing any justice towards SLY. She is NOT her friend. I believe she is figuring things out slowly. But when YCY broke down, dang, who couldn't feel his pain.

This drama is FIRE!!! The sweet intimacy between the two is too much. You just can't help but keep smiling. We all know drama is about to happen. Seeing episode 18, I know it is going to go down.
I have been trying so hard to get into this drama and it is just not happening for me. Something is feeling off about it. I can't put my finger on it. Looks like I maybe bowing out of this one.
I am not going by ratings. This was a good in my opinion from beginning to end. A strong female lead that was not bending into the typical female cliche. TPOB female lead and her would make an awesome team.
Loved how XJ was so supportive but not restricting himself nor her. Letting her always be the individual that she wanted to be.
I will never look at the moon the same way, I'm just saying! Will you?
