There are people like Jin Seok who doesn’t want to hurt anybody, but ending up hurting everybody around him. In any case his wife doesn’t deserve him because she’s been lying to him all this time and tricking him into marriage. She should know that she’s not wanted nor loved and should just give up and sign the divorce paper. Instead she chose to do the worst thing ever, to come to Chan Young’s parents. Even after Mi Jo begged her. She strikes where it hurts the most. She’s a cold, calculative and manipulative person. They’re all adult, she should try to resolve all the problems with Jin Seok. Not dragging someone else’s parents into the mess she created in the first place. And in any case, even if Jin Seok doesn’t deserve Chan Young, they should be together. He should support Chan Young facing her coming ordeal, to make up for the time they have lost. Chan Young is not a home wrecker, she’s been suffering alone all this time. And the marriage is a sham anyway.
Yes this drama is depressing, but I love it. It really relates to me, as I have lots of friends and families dealing with cancer. Some of them already passed away, including my own mother. This drama makes me reflect and empathize even more with cancer patients.
