For me, the saddest part of the drama is that there are similar things happening in real life. Governments who make their own people as hostages for their own interests, to stay in power and to hide their corruption.
Kdrama watchers should know by now that most of the time Kdramas have rushed, disappointing endings. Only occasionally we get satisfying, full closure ends. But yeah. this drama has a new level of pettiness toward its viewers. It’s like they really want to torture us.
All the girls will need a lot of therapies after the trauma they have been through, especially Young Ro. Life can’t just go on as normal like they’ve shown in the last scene. But I guess mental health awareness was not a thing at that time there. And I bet they don’t know what PTSD yet.
Glad I managed to finish it, even though ep 15-16 gave me indigestion. It’s a roller coaster ride from the start. Not something I ever want to rewatch. Congrats for all who finish watching 2 eps tonight.
