I know perfectly well that there’s nothing sexual depicted in My Mister. I was just pointing out the age gap between the main leads, regardless of the ‘type of the relationship’ in each dramas. And I read lots of discussion about each of the dramas I mentioned above with all kind of perspectives. So I am not struggling at all thank you. We don’t even know yet what direction this drama will take us to, we just have to wait and see. But what we can understand now is that the main leads have a very deep emotional connection because of what they’ve been through. Just like in other dramas I mentioned above. And people make that kind of connection regardless of their backgrounds or age, as long as that person ‘gets you’.
I’m rewatching this drama for the second time and IMO Eun Hye looks more at ease with Sun Kyun, they suit each other better. And Gong Yoo suits Jung An better. They should switch the roles of the Male Leads, lol.
Im Soo Jung plays as someone in her mid 30s here right. So the age gap is about 12-13 years. That is nothing in Kdramaland. In My Mister it’s 23 years. In Secret Love Affair it’s also more than 20 years. In Goblin it’s 900 years lol.
