I thought this was going to be just an action heroes story and I’m pleasantly surprised that it’s not. It gives me a Noh Hee Kyung’s dramas vibes (Our Blues, It’s Okay That’s Love), taking its time in telling all the background stories, really fleshing out each characters, making you sympathize with them. Just my kind of drama, but with superheroes as a nice bonus 😁
The way Doo Shik was looking at Mi Hyun through the window from his sniper position, it gave me a shiver down my spine. It’s so intense and full of conflicting emotions. You understand a lot without even any words spoken. That’s how good his acting is. I feel like rewatching his other dramas just to see his intense stares again 😂 not to to mention his 🔥🔥🔥kiss scenes 🤭. He’s a master in playing complex characters with lots of contradictions (It’s Okay That’s Love, That Winter the Wind Blows, Dear My Friends). They really chose perfect casts for this drama.
Zo In Sung is one of the actors than can do all the acting just with his eyes. They can express all his thoughts and emotions. And maybe it’s just me but he looks even more dashing now with his face a bit chubbier than the last time I’ve seen him in Escape from Mogadishu or in his other dramas a long time ago. Now he’s playing a father figure my heart just can’t take it anymore 😂😂😂
