this storyline with the pathetic bastard bitch sister and hayoungs loser brother is so unnecessary and irrelevant
They’re lucky no one got killed in the fire. Otherwise they’ll go straight to jail. And the way they were just watching the commotion calmly. I hate them.
I would prefer if they dress down Darim a little bit. But it’s always the case with these Kdramas ‘poor girl’ cliche. They barely make ends meet and still have to pay their parent’s debt, but somehow they manage to put on beautiful and matching new outfit everyday. Branded handbags and shoes. Often with discreet gold and diamond jewelry. There’s a girl in TikTok who makes parody of this trope. She’s so accurate. And funny.
Watched the first episode. It has all the ingredients fora good romcom. The only thing thats irking me is that…
Yes I like her best in Hospital Playlist where she looks healthy. But here probably because she’s supposed to look like she’s malnourished. What with working all kinds of odd jobs and studying for exam.
Ep 6-7 are so good, you can feel their pains. I haven’t seen too many Japanese dramas, but this is my favorite one so far. I don’t want to watch it without subtitles, so I will wait patiently the next episode in NF.
Finally finished watching. I think the rating here is about right. I really love Ma Yi Deum’s character, and JRW really nailed it. Just the right amount of cheekiness, bravado, and vulnerability. She really carried this drama. ML is cute but his acting is not spectacular. The cases in the beginning are interesting and a bit educational. But it’s dragging toward the end, when the focus shifts solely towards the main antagonist. I skipped a lot of Jo Gab Soo’s scenes. Can’t stand his phoney smiles. And one thing that I just can’t get my head around is, how many times they lost all the important documents and evidence. How come they’re so careless and just put them lying around. Don’t they have cctv, security and safe cabinets?
Someone must’ve hacked their phones 🙄

I’m glad she’s finally doing a romcom.

Really love ep 6 though. It’s beautiful and bittersweet.
