I also found the first Laotian BL on YT, called "One Love". They hedged their bets by including a het couple but the MC are clearly the BL couple. It was another one that pleasantly surprised me!

I was pleasantly surprised by Mr. Cinderella and Nation's Brother on YT. It has some of the same cast members bcs it's a small production comp but they did a good job imo
Poor Nack. Between his mother wielding religion like a weapon, the guy he fell in love with "toying" with his feelings and general school bullying the poor guy almost became a scary statistic. Toy was the one who approached him first and at the first sign of conflict backed away like the little puppy pfp he used!!!! At least Nack was able to admit to his feelings for another male, instead of suppressing them and pretending to be straight, unlike Toy. This movie really annoyed me bcs the first half seemed so promising then the writing became very safe and preachy and not at all like the beginning of the movie...
