My last comment- I appreciate your apology , but I wasn't trying to point out things I didn't like about his personal appearance, to clarify. I was pointing out things I felt that detracted from his performance in my eyes. That is why I asked if things would start to take on more depth. I appreciate you listening, but I do want to bring this subject to close if possible.

Well, his teeth are blindingly fake ;-). However, I did edit/change my response as time went on, and that was the point of my original post, to ASK if this got better, more mature. I do think his acting was so- so in the beginning and didn't find that he was grounded in his part- he got better. So , though he will never be my favorite, he is ok. I'm sorry for calling him a "k-drama boy"-it's just that half of these boys in their twenties look alike to me, and I find as they get older they take on their own more interesting characteristics. That is my opinion, you don't have to enjoy it. I did appreciate Shalada's non-emotiional response below which actually made me think.

Where can one watch this? It says 2021 in copyright but I see nothing, now says 2022 on MDL, but I still see nothing.

Thanks for a mature, well thought out answer. I kept watching and he does get less irritating to me ;-). He really isn't my "type" in any way, but I understand what you are saying- this is the first drama I've watched with him in it, and though I honestly don't think he is a great actor, he's good enough, and he is portraying that growth. I think part of why I just don't vibe with him is that I am an older woman, I mean not in my teen's or twenties, like a lot of his fans, and I tend to be attracted to actors, as men and actors, who have a LOT of experience and who are in their 30's , or preferably 40's, who have been acting in film and drama for a long time. But I really do appreciate your answer.

"hurtful"? to whom? Things going on in the world are hurtful, not my opinion of a Kdrama boy. Besides, I asked if it got better, I really wanted to know. There are plenty of people who understand what I am saying. Please grow up. I like the female lead and want to continue watching if it gets a little more mature.

Can Park Bo Gum stop SMILING already with those fake bright white teeth? So far I haven't seen acting ability from him and It puzzles me why he is so popular. Everyone else is on their A game, and he's a bore to me. Please tell me there is a point where he gets more interesting and stops with the faces! He is ultra boyish.

She needs a main role-I'm always so happy when I see her- she would be a perfect main role that has slightly comic personality but not over the top. She would do well in a slice of life drama.. etc.

I can't find this subbed. Bilibili has the 1st episode free to hook you in , which it did, and then wants you to pay for premium to watch the rest. No thanks- anyone know of any place that has free subs. Seems all is raw.

You should watch it, but yes.

I have had difficulty with her not being able to say she was sorry or nothing being explained all that well. But I also felt most of what you said at the end, and it helped. I also think that unconsciously, this was why he could help and relate, and even was attracted to Seon Ah and her mental illness so well. Except Seon Ah was able to heal. I think his mother thought she only brought bad fortune to the people she loved and ended up pushing people away.

I just want to say that My Dear Friends, is superb, and has a wonderful main cast of more mature women we usually see in supporting roles. I loved it. I haven't seen Live, but will look it up.
