Most kpop companies want their kpop idols to have a clean record pre debut and if the kpop idol/trainee is pretty famous, the company will just hide it under the rug.

Im pretty sure he has a one sided crush on his friend for years so thats why he buys stuff from him. Thats why he said his love life is miserable and wishes he was straight instead. Idk abt the beach scene tho but im pretty sure Ho Joon knows Jae Yoon's crush is a man since he has met him.
