So did I miss a scene or did the plotline with the FL's ex and his wife never reach an actual conclusion? In fact, it's strange that she wasn't in the final 2 episodes at all, not even a single scene.
I started this drama because of Shin Min Ah, and will walk away from it a big fan of Han Ji Hyun. She is cute as hell, and her acting has charmed me. Lee Sang Yi is funny and charismatic too. No shade to the main couple, but I always find myself looking forward to the next Fork Gyu/Ja Yeon scene.
At first I was very excited to see the drama was only 12 episodes, as I feel the majority of 16 episode dramas can't justify their length. Now however, it's clear this could easily go 16 episodes no problem and I'm worried certain plotlines will be rushed as hell.
This show would have been better if it stayed as a case of the week type deal and the cast got character development slowly. It didn't really need a main plot/villain, and the writer's choice for the main villain was disappointing because it's too cliche. Because of this, it's yet another drama that loses steam in the end.
People are pretty harsh on the FL in the comments here, and in the first couple of episodes she definitely deserves it. I think she was a pretty good FL over all, but I will say I'm not a fan of teasing romance between the two of them and not going through with it. If you're going to bother with romance, it should be all or nothing. Though with the show apparently getting a S2 maybe they are saving it.
3 whole episodes left? Feels like we already hit the climax and the evil spirit should be dealt with in 1 more episode. Afraid the show will lose steam in the end.
can anyone tell me if there's more kdrama like this one or 2521? that takes place in 90s. I wanna watch more 90s…
You can try the Reply series (Reply 1997, Reply 1994, and Reply 1988). The series flashes back and forth between the past and the present, but mostly takes place in the past. I've only seen 1997, but supposedly 1988 is the best one.
