In the novel Ae is dominant top and pete is bottom. Pete didn't top Ae even once he was always the bottom. Ae D * is short but thick thats why they talked about the pain before having sex. The reason was in their first time Pete couldn't walk the next day( 3 or 4 rounds of sex). Ae had to carry him around. It just that they changed that scene in the novel but the scene was also good.
