OMG the boat scene! One of the best ever!! The way that he threw himself in the water so worried about her! For the first time he let his guard down, we didn’t hear that inner voice of him because it was nothing but the Princess in his mind! The way her face enlighted when she saw him and that laugh of joy and relief when she saw him swiming towards her! Then again their awkward moments and misunderstanding,lol! In her presence XQA loses his eloquence so what better way to explain her how he feels than kissing her! Oh, my heart melted! 💖💖💖

She did it all, embarrassed herself in front of everyone, wondered through desert and all to get back to him, took care of him, yet he seems unaware of her true feelings! Lord Wei is such a father figure for Xu Qi An. He has a soft spot for XQA and XQA takes advantages of it, lol. The way lord Wei couldn’t resist to XQA’s. cuddling was so sweet. He tried hardly not to smile😂

They meet in ep 6 and they kiss in ep 23. This is a male centric drama with commedy, adventure, mystery, familly relationship and the romance is just one side of Xu Qi An life in Dafeng. The romance, as much as it is, it’s good, but slow burn.
