After ep 22 we can rest assured that the Grand Princess is on the good side. Under that rigid composure she hides a kind heart. She loves her sister and she wants good things for her. She knows what cakes princess Lin An likes better than her own mother. Also she was thoughtfull enough to buy that painting of princess Pingyang. She also in a subtle way sugestted to XQA to pay a visit to her sister and bring her those things ( the cakes and the painting) in order to ease her pain. I also love the fact that there is no love triangle between the 2 sisters and XQA. I would have hated that. Sisters are supposed to love and support each other and not to fight over a man!
N° 2 is too efficient in capturing - package & delivery included - that Zhou Chixiong villain
I was thinking of that too but then I remembered some details from the previous episodes. So XQA has found that Zhou Chixiong has fled to Yuzhou a place full of bandits and lawless people where it was almost impossible to find him. Without any connections. On the other hand he knows that No 2 the Winged Woman is living in that place and her daily job is catching bad people from there. In previous episodes he also had cleverly sat the ground for a favour from Winged Woman when he saved no 6. So when the last day for solving the Sangbo case arrived, in order to save his life, he used his atuu on Winged Woman and asked her to catch that villain. So after all it was rushed beacause XQA needed something fast to save his life.
In ep 22 we get more explanations regarding the spoiled and childish behaviour of princess Lin An. This is what people, including her awful mother, is expecting from her! So her mother wants her to behave like a brainless cute, silly girl just to have the Emperor’s favours. She is not entitled to use her own brain or to demand something. When she bravely demanded justice for her murdered bossom friend/cousin she got severely scolded by her mother like she has comitted some crime. I also noticed that when her true personality and desires were unleashed she was perfectly able to create and present her own powerful poem!
Does this have romance? I am planning to watch but afraid to be bored if the story would rotate in the lead's…
If you are afraid of that then go for it! Romance is just a side part of the storyline. There is plenty of comedy, mistery adventure! Not a single dull moment!
XQA made chicken powder,lol! I think we all use that magic powder (under different names in each country) in our meals, just to make us better cooks, right?😀 The way he uses his skills and knowledge from modern world in order to amaze people and obtain their likes and favours is hilarious!😂
This drama is such a roller coaster of emotions. Ep 22 brought me sadness, thrils, excitement and laughter. It ended in a cliffhanger and it’s an eternity untill tomorrow. I want more!😫
It is really good. It starts with slapstick comedy and then it is getting more serious but still with funny parts. The plotline is captivating, all the characters are so well portrayed by a stellar cast. This drama keeps getting better and better. Not a single dull moment. Just go for it!
