I would say 8.5 but it gets better and better, there are a lot of funny moments and the pace is alert without boring moments. It is different from any other cdrama I’ve seen.

Article Dylan Wang's 'Guardians of the Dafeng' premieres amidst high buzz and mixed reviews
I don’t know about haters and picky persons but this drama is the best of its kind in drama world. The level of comedy is high and not over the top. It is a thriller, fantasay, mistery, comdey drama, all at the same time. Dylan Wang is playing himself basically, as Xu Qi An, and he is gourgeous as ever. I think he nailed this role and I am glad that he had the oportunity to play such kind of role which suits him best. Sometimes he gave me vibes of Indiana Jones like!😀
So if you are in for a fun ride please go and check Guardians of the Dafeng. You will not regret it!

This drama has the pace and rythm of a movie. I have the impression that I am seated in a cinema theatre watching a fantasy thriler filled with good comedy. It is unique in c_ent industry. It will set up a new bar for this kind of dramas!

imo he's good in those kind of stoic/badass roles like DFQC but this one.. his acting is really cringey and over-acted.
In GOTD is more himself than in any other drama!😀 I am glad that he had the opportunity to play this role!

If you dropped at ep 5 there is no problem, it’s your own taste. But to rate it at 2, after 5 episodes, yes…
Then you should rate only that episode not entire drama! That is not correct and if it happens to you this kind of treatment I don’t think you will appreciate it and you will consider it fair. Treat others and their work with respect as you also want to be treated.!
