I'm pretty sure it's not Yunxi in the mask since I can tell by the face although it's covered in the mask. But…
same!!! i been seeing some comment that the devil in the past is leo but in my mind i been saying "no it can't be him. the jaw is very different. the devil in the dream has a strong jaw while leo have a sharp jaw. it can't be him." but alas, i was wrong hahahaha.
IMO, it was their past life too.. they need to overcome their past life too… that’s making more sense
if i remember it correctly, sang jiu choose li susu because she is brave and decisive but i dont remember why ming ye choose tantai jin. its been so long since i read the novel
the plot is going supperrrr fast. As someone who has not read the novel, there are just some scenes that don't…
must be because this was supposed to have part 2 but because of restrictions, they decide to make it 40 ep. so they need to cut or remove some scenes which is sad.
In all her modern dramas, she has used her own voice including Arsenal Military academy.
From what i heard, the old Chinese language is more difficult and harder to pronounce, and it can also because the accent of actors is not suited for historical drama.
I watch the anime version of this and I can say, the dynamic of the anime version of orchid and Dongfang is much more better. because in the anime ver. orchid bickers with Dongfang even knowing that his the demon lord. she even gets fist fights with him, even tho she knows that his much stronger. and Dongfang in the anime ver. is not such a cold and emotionless person. he jokes with her and he goes with her jokes. while in the drama, it feels like Dongfang is babysitting her. tho I like the supporting characters in the drama more than the anime ver. watch episode 1 of the anime version on youtube and more ep in iqiyi app. https://youtu.be/3U_hNCVOcDE
Is it only me but the stories she wrote were actually not suitable for children?
To be honest most children stories and fairy tales historically are quite dark. Most of those tales meant to teach children to deal with morality of their deeds and install fear against strangers, lies and other deviant behavior. Fairy tales gained their modern look very recently, like mostly in 20th century. As for main heroine's books, they might seem scary but they could teach how to deal with traumatic events and explain difficult concepts of psychological problems in simple ways. I think it's important to show children different types of stories to make them understand this complicated world better.
when Chief Cao is telling his backstory to yang shu, it feels wrong to me because it feels like " you should forgive me for stealing your ideas and credits it just that my story is like this blah blah blah" it feels like his gaslighting yang shu to forgive him
After binge watching 1-6 episode, you can already guess some of the struggle the leads gonna face
Xie jie- stereotypes with the female police, her mother and other Police over protectiveness and the trauma with her father. Ji wei( the hard working guy)- to be notice and to be acknowledge. (I like him and relate to him). Li da wei- stubbornness and family problem ( EP 6, I feel frustrated when his mother accept his father again) Yang shu- I'm still observing him and I think episode 7 will be about him.
