Ever since I’ve known about the cast of the drama Immortality, whenever I see Leo Yunxi I will think about Chu Wanning, when I see him in this drama I can’t help but imagine how he will be when he’ll be playing Chu Wanning. DO NOT COMPARE THIS WITH MDZS/THE UNTAMED! Please don’t. The two stories are totally different and so are the characters. So if you’re a fan of mdzs and you come here thinking the stories are alike and try to compare the characters you’ll just miss out on this story. Erha is a masterpiece and just like I loved mdzs I totally fell in love with this novel too. So many plot twists, each character’s story is written so beautifully that you will feel for each of them (both heroes and villains) And I can’t explain how much I love the main couple , their love is the most beautiful, their story is the most heartwarming. And so to come back to the drama, I can’t help feeling a little anxious because it will be be so hard to adapt it without changing the storyline. I don’t want to judge it before it’s out but I’m so afraid the drama will not live up to the novel expectations. I’ve watched many of Leo Luo’s drama ( like 4 of them) and I’m convinced he’s the best actor to play Chu WanNing, he was made for this role. But Arthur Chen... I really don’t know him. I never watched any of his dramas so I don’t know about his acting and I won’t judge before watching. But I’m still afraid, I’m still wondering whether he will be able to portray Mo Ran’s character well, especially when he’s TaXianJun. And the novel is really long (311 chapters without the extras) so I wonder if they won’t omit some parts they deem unimportant in order to fit in the drama’s 50 episodes. Aiiiyaaaah I have even more expectations now that I read the novel...hopefully everything will turn out well!
