I'm not a fan of the FL there as well but I'm able to look past it. She does well when she doesn't react expressively. I don't blame you for skipping. The King's Affection FL, I wasn't a face of her face at first but the more I watched, the prettier she looks to me. Plus she is charismatic.

I had this problem with few other actors/actresses as well but thankfully some salvaged it while others, I'm avoiding their drama as long as it's rom-com. A new role definitely helps regain your likeness to the actors.

He is not a bad actor. He plays the role convincingly but at this stage, I don't want to see him anymore. Charatcer development can't be saved anymore.

I went from watching 6 episodes in one sitting to struggling to finish an episode. And honestly, this drama is making me dislike Rowoon. I hate watching a drama that makes me dislike a character so much that I don't want to see the actor act anymore. Please Rowoon pick a unromance drama next. He fits an action drama yet he is stuck with these lame roles.

I have dropped a lot of the short ones. People were saying that he had a court lady he loved but of course, she is one of the many he was married too so I wish they would bring other women. Like you said, too many cheesy romance. I enjoy them but sometimes, I want something dark, messy and mainpulative.

Most historical dramas with 16 episodes are usually average. Although you can still enjoy them when the writer doesn't turn it completely cringey. I'm hoping Red Cuff would have some of the real events mixed in because these dramas will always make it seem like one girl was a favorite in history when King's had many.

I don't think it's Hyun's job to tell him she is Dami. Wouldn't you assume if you friend is in love with her, he would figure it out since they met each other when they were children? Also wouldn't it be up to Dami whether she wants to tell him or not? Hyun was never involved as he was never there when they met as children.

Same. I'm not a fan of the actress of the Red Sleeve Cuff but I was worried I might not like the lively, mischievous character on her but she was doing a great job. I'm no longer bothered by her role there.

The scene with the crown prince and her youngest brother were so wholesome. The bond that started to bloom between them was well done.

The writer is CONFUSED. The problem with the politics is when the schemes happen, they are ALL IN HER FAVOR. One fraction is fighting to protect her position which SHE wants. While the other wants to pass the crown to the youngest brother which is also what she should want if her aim to live a free life. So all in all, it's working out for her but all she does is be a puppet. She have not done anything to gain power. All she does is wait for everything to be handed to her in silver plate. Imo, that's super weak. The romance is overtaking all the proper power struggle. If it had been a rom-com, it would be better.
