Yan Lin (General) gets rejected by the FL, mainly due to the guilt she felt from previous life and trauma from the previous life. In simple words, she abandoned Yan Lin and married her ex husband, then when Xie Wei rebelled Yan Lin joined him so he then kinda I think sexually assaulted the FL while he was drunk because of all the bad stuff she did for him. ( I don't entirely remember whether he did anything really bad for her like sexually assault her because the translation was soo bad I barely understood the story :(

He rejects her because he doesn't want things that happened in the previous life to happen again. His mother passed away and he was not able to even attend the funeral (he was put prison as he took the blame for FL) . He won't be with another girl, he just takes care of his mother and help the FL at times but he doesn't get too involved in stuff like previous life. He just wants to live a simple life with his mother. Only person he likes is the FL but due to previous life trauma he rejects her and stays alone. FL kept rejecting ML (Xie Wei) too due to previous life trauma. So in a way FL's previous life was turned upside down by ML and SML's previous life was turned upside down by FL so it's understandable they want to stay away from the people who did that.

Hi. Actually Zhang Zhe has the memory of the previous life just like FL. As for the love story between FL and Zhang Zhe, previous life Zhang Zhe kinda took blame instead of FL and because of that he suffered alot. I don't think that drama will focus on all of them. Actually second and third ones didn't have strong feelings for her so I don't think they will appear as love interests in the drama. We will mostly see first, fourth and fifth in the drama (it's a guess)

The FL isn't a kind hearted one. She is practically very cold hearted, domineering and ruthless not bloody. Well, it is also because of her childhood that caused her to be like this. She was raised in a village by her father concubine. The concubine told that a queen can only have true power. So her life goal was to be a queen. She didn't appreciate others love for her rather use it. Her both mothers also didn't give her family warmth and father was guilty for her.
After rebirth, she changed her plan decided to see the world and works for this. She got feelings for a man who was the only one who had never resent or took advantage of her in previous life. He was her only clean heaven in the dirty world. She also changed her cold personality slightly.
There are 4 love interests in the novel who likes the FL.
First one is her childhood friend. He loves and pampers her very much. She roam around and have fun with him.

In 2nd life, he still likes her but when she confessed to him. He rejected her because of the things that happened in the 1st life and he also remembers them like her. And yes there is another girl who liked him (the one he was supposed to marry) but he breaks off the marriage since he knows she did something quite bad to him in the 1st life and was about to do the same thing in the 2nd life. By the time she started to like him, it was too late.
King was the reason he almost died when he was small. King and his mother sacrificed Xie Wei but he didn't die instead he was alive and comes back for revenge.
