With regard to the matter of Li Hongyi being subject to court-imposed restrictions on high consumption, the following explanation is provided:
The dispute over the termination of the management contract between Li Hongyi and his former management company, Hunan Mango Entertainment Co., Ltd., has already been adjudicated by the court, and a legally effective judgment has been issued. The court ruled that the management contract between both parties be terminated, and that both parties shall bear liability for breach of contract. After offsetting the relevant amounts, Li Hongyi is required to personally pay Hunan Mango Entertainment Co., Ltd. a total of RMB 13.08 million.
After the judgment took effect, Li Hongyi paid part of the amount. However, due to the large total sum, he has been unable to raise the full amount at once and therefore needs to pay it gradually in installments. During this period, Mango Entertainment initiated compulsory enforcement in accordance with legal procedures, and the court imposed restrictions on high consumption on Li Hongyi.
It can be seen that the court’s judgment has affirmed Li Hongyi’s right to independently pursue his acting career.
