Ok, so 4 episodes left and they will probably only really get back together in the last ten minutes of the final…
My biggest problem is throwing an exgf into the storyline. This seems like a cop out. Is he gay or isn’t he? I don’t remember that being an issue in the first season. I could have taken it better if it had been an exbf but this seems downright disrespectful to the Lgtbg community. Kang needs to pack up and not look back. That would be a happy ending.
I literally cringe every time I see the females, especially the exgf. I hate this storyline. This is supposed to be a bl but it doesn’t feel like it. It is totally different from the first series. So much focus seems to now be on this ex girlfriend. It feels more like he was just using Kang Seo. If he wants his gf back ok but why kiss Kang Seo and suggest they can sleep together sometime? And what sane female breaks up with a guy after five years and four years later discovers he just broke up with a man and now you want him back? At this point Kang Seo should just run for the hills. He deserves someone who knows who he is and is not so frivolous. I wish some handsome guy would suddenly appear and the next episodes show Kang how worthy he is of true love. As for Jin Woo he and his Italian restaurant can go straight to hell and take the exgf with him.
Kinn and Porsche are I living the bliss of their relationship, which is something you don’t see in BL’s. So…
Hi for one love it! No back and forth banter about not really being gay, finally able to openly declare their love for one another, acceptance from friend and family….isn’t that what most people long for….and to see Porsche being sure no one gets his man’s eye by selecting the most unappealing bodyguard candidates was just precious. It’s these insertions that help make this series so appealing. I left for a minute but I’m back. I want to find out who was responsible for the auto accident that killed the parents. I also want Kim to feel bad about how he treated Chay.
I do not understand this at all, people seem to like the Pete and Vegas thing? This is literally Stockholm syndrome.…
Wouldn’t work for me…but I have watched young girls and grown women repeatedly return to such relationships in the name of love. Of course this is fiction so a complete transformation is possible.
My God..how many whips and chains does it take…lol…however, if this is toned down from the book kudos to the writers…of course since Vegas is a crazy psycho I expect we will see more next week.
Thank you to the scriptwriters for remembering this is a bl and the main leads are Kinn and Porsche. I loved their confession of love before family and other bodyguards. The most emotional moment for me was when Chay found out about Kim. His hurt and pain was so real. Great job Barcode….and it was so good to see Tay, Time and Yok. Of course Tank always puts a smile on my face. Now Vegas and Pete. Great acting and pretty faces but enough already with the whips and chains. Hopefully, there will be more love and less torture next week. Next week we should find out more about Porsche and Chay’s parents. That may spell trouble for Kinn and Porsche relationship.
I just finished the episode and I am trying to arrange my thoughts once again. Since this episode was mostly about…
Thank you for your comments..since I’m one of the few not really interested in Vegas/Pete I really appreciate your comments in the other characters, especially Kinn and Porsche.
I actually like this series but what I don’t like in this or any bl is the whining, crying females. The man you like is gay. He has found what he likes. It’s not you! Have some self respect….move on! Really, I would feel this way if he/she were not gay. Don’t beg anyone to love you. Cry in your pillow while eating a huge bowl of ice cream and looking at the saddest movie you can. Then wash your face, put on your sexiest outfit and get back in the game.
I just finished this series. It is a hidden gem. How can a fantasy seem so real and make you smile and cry at the same time…lol..I don’t know but this one managed to do just that. I have had more than one Toufu in my life…and I loved the ending…it leaves us with a message of hope and love.
Well it’s been great sharing viewpoints with you. But this is where I check out. I love this entire cast and I hope to see them in season 2. I was really looking forward to seeing Ken and Big. I thought they were hilarious. And I could look at Tay and Time all day. Of course Tong and Yok added a whole new vibe to the series. And who wouldn’t want friends like Jom and Tem. Kim and Chay was like a breathe of fresh air. I even downloaded the osts by Jeff and Barcode so they will be with me forever. If I thought we would get a healthy dose of Kim and Chay I would stay. As much as I have enjoyed watching Pete and Vegas I am just not into this kind of love. I do adore the actors which is why I still rate this series a ten. Hats off to the entire team. As I said before I have enjoyed the various perspectives you have shared. BLs have not only been a source of entertainment but they have been a source of education and enlightenment for me. Yesterday I attended a family function and was informed that a member’s son is transgender. She looked beautiful and so happy. More importantly she has been embraced by her entire family. Again, thank you all.
