I agree.,I would have liked to have seen more happy scenes too. Personally I lost my taste for IPYTM with ep3. I tried to rewatch it but I can’t. I don’t find toxic situations or people entertaining and that’s how I see Jai and Teh at this point. I look forward to reading your comments after eps 4 and 5.

While reading your perspective the question that came to mind is does Teh warrant a second chance....I think that depends on what happens next. He may even do worse...the question remains the same....and the final answer will be up to he and Aew.
A close friend has been in a relationship for a number of years. Her partner likes to be pampered and when he gets involved in a project his total focus is on that alone. Recently he did something which was
uncalled for and
it was emotionally
painful. The first thing we said was
leave him. You deserve better. She listened but she and he are still
together. Why? Because she knows his heart. He is not a bad person. And I do believe he loves her. And I think Teh does love Aew. But will he own his errors and do the work to regain Aew’s trust. I believe in second and even third chances. If Teh and Aew truly love each other they may be apart for awhile but if it’s true love they will find their way back.

From a business point of view the company responsible for this series is looking at the bottom line. For them it’s about
making money and keeping their endorsements. It’s not just
about this project but future projects. I read where fan base activities
bring in huge revenue. ITSAY was the company’’s
first bl and did well. They
raked up several awards. PP and Billikin won awards. I’m sure they were
looking for a repeat. Having worked in the corporate world for many years I wish I was a fly on the wall during their most recent business meetings. Just something that came to my mind.😊

I wish they could just release both episodes next week and put people out of their misery....I have been listening to PP ‘s song Fake News. It is a beautiful song but the lyrics are so sad. There hasn’t been enough joy
displayed.

I agree with you there. I knew a 60 year old who was still acting the same way he did at 18. He was never able to sustain a
relationship because he was like Teh. He could always point out the shortcomings of others but
never could see his own need for
improvement.

Probably not but I really could care less about these two. A relationship based on deceit and manipulation is not my cup of tea. I see lust not love when I think of these two. Actually they deserve each other. Aew deserves someone who truly values and respects him.

perfect bliss loving on one another. Please don’t hate me. It’s been a rough three years for me so I’m into

I will wait for the final two episodes but I know this will not go on my rewatch list. It was not painful for me . I just have so many BLs that I think are so much better than this one. The music is good and the cinematography is nice but with ep 3 I felt nothing groundbreaking. I did not find it beautiful. But that’s just my opinion. There are some plot lines I just cringe when I see them....cheating, girls who act like lovesick morons,
homophobic relatives. That’s just me personally. Most times when I see any of these plot lines I just click off and look for something I will enjoy. I can’t do anything about these issue in real life but I have my remote control and I’m in complete control of my tv. Take care.

I felt the same as you. It was not right for Teh to use Aew in that way. I felt sad for Aew because he obviously
felt it was an act of love on Teh’s part.

I have said it before and I will repeat. This is a work of fiction. The crew and cast members, production team and anyone connected with the series are only doing their jobs. I abhor violence. If you like or don’t like
something about the series that is your personal opinion. Thank you.

You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine. I had higher expectations for this
series. In ep 3 no new ground for BLs was established. The writers chose the easy way out and went with the cheating scenario which has been used to a point of boredom. Yes people cheat but not all people cheat. All
relationships come
with challenges
but it’s how we react to those bumps in the road that determine if that
relationship will last or not. I know. I hope no one goes into a relationship with the
expectation that it will fail. I have several BLs that took the high road and did not use the cheat
ploy. Those I
love to watch over and over. I will
not rewatch this one. Again I respect your opinion. If you love it
that’s great! Enjoy.

I agree. The actors are doing an awesome job. It’s the storyline and the direction of the series that I don’t like.
Bottom line it’s fiction so no need to threaten or say hurtful things to the actors.

Excellent analysis.....especially noticing the colors in the clothing. Aew’s future looks bright. He’s found his niche and life is good. He’s got a new car, great condo and supportive friends. On the other hand Teh
is finding out that his dream of getting an Oscar is not as easy
as he thought it would be. He’s
always been overconfident.
Remember it was Aew who the
teacher picked when they were in middle school. Fast forward
and he’s still getting overlooked. Yes, he’s attracted
to Jai but he feels desperate to
me and willing to do anything to get the part( in my day they called it the casting couch) He’s just one of many and he needs
some kind of affirmation. Jai
knows that and I feel has already started to exploit this.
Now this scenario is realistic. You just landed a great position
while your partner is sitting on
a stack of rejection letters and no call backs. It’s starts to take
a toll on the relationship. But and it’s a big but....the relationship can still work if you realize that your day is
coming and you don’t do something stupid. Does Teh have the maturity to see that?
Right now it looks like he’s jaded and see Jai as his brass
ring.

You’re right...I stand corrected....he didn’t cheat....

I’d like to see Ohew in that beautiful car and Bas in the passenger seat. Be with somebody who truly values you.

Another outstanding bl is Life:Love on the Line (Directors cut) the movie. If you love BLs like I do but you’re looking for one that sets the bar high I invite you to give this a try. There is a character similar to Teh and one similar
to Ohew. I have already watched it three times and will watch it again. It presents real challenges that same sex
couples grapple with. I am rewatching
ATale of aThousand Stars next. Then I think I’ll rewatch Dark Blue Kiss. ❤️
