Singto, Fluke, Patchata…my boys are back and they did not disappoint! Mystery, intrigue, lust, visions, premonitions, eerie voices, ghosts….Wow! I am loving this already! What a great start! I dont mean to offend anyone but what better background than the Catholic church which has always been shrouded in mystery.
A perspective on Ray from a 29 year-old person with diagnosed C-PTSD.Trigger warning: mention of su*cid*. I love…
Thank you for sharing. I am actually glad to know that there are others like me who are at times compelled to share their personal life experiences when the characters in a series and the messages presented resonate so deeply on a personal basis. We all know this is fiction but many times we realize that fiction is just a canvas for painting a portrait of real life. I wish you the best as you continue to love yourself and grow in the reality that you are worthy of love.
ok, this is just my opinions on the characters.it's OK if you don't share the same opinion.Mew- I think He did…
I totally get what you are saying and i concur. As I have often said relationships are unpredictable and there are so many variables that go into maintaining a relationship. Like you I believe in second chances. I was in a relationship for fifty years. Only death separated us permanently but I tell people we were two imperfect people who were perfectly fit for each other. That is why I really would like to see the second part to this series. Which couple has true staying power? We may be surprised… I am not counting Nick and Ton out.
I think the ending for them is okay. It was going to be bad if a good guy like Nick ended up with Boston, because…
I think you are right. My family was cursed with fine looking men . Even as a child I could not fathom why these women and men just coulnt stay away. It must have been real good for them to endure the constant hurt. And like Boston the men I knew never really felt sorry. I would watch them say they were sorry and try to soothe things over but it never sounded sincere.

Lol…that is being kind…he even declared his love for me when I was 18 and he and my cousin were living with my family at the time. Luckily my family was cursed with fine looking men who could charm a snake so I knew how to handle him.
I think the ending for them is okay. It was going to be bad if a good guy like Nick ended up with Boston, because…
Karma is a mess. At the end of the day she met a man who gave her the love she derserved. Helped her raise her children, built her a big beautiful house, new cars and they were always on the go. Happily married for over 40 years.

I understand where you are coming from. I watched as a dear relative suffered through such a relationship also for over ten years. Their problem was compounded by the birth of four children with her and one child with another person. She finally realized like Nick that you have to love yourself more. He never changed. At his funeral I lost count of all his exes. There were lots of tears. Even his children acknowledged he was who he was…monogamy was not for him. So glad you got away. Hopefully, you have found peace and joy.
“I really liked it. It felt so real that today there was no perfect world. Some pairs ended up happy, but others…
You hit the nail on the head. How many times have we heard a couple was breaking up that we thought was the perfect couple? Each of these relationships is already starting with a lot of baggage. I often wish we could see these same couples years later.,That’s why my all time favorite bl is Life..Love on the Line..the movie. True love will stand the test of time. Still, it was a wonderful series…. entertaining and enlightening.

It’s intriguing to delve into the character dynamics in “Only Friends,” especially focusing on Boston’s…
I agree regarding your comment about the narrative on monogamy. From my own personal observations and experiences I feel there are some people who are not meant to be monogamous. I watched them try to change and conform to the norms set by their culture. It proved painful for all involved especially if children were involved. Why do we try to fit a square in a round hole?
I have had so much trouble watching this in my country. Saw the first three episodes on Youtube and then started getting messages that it was blocked in my country. Dropped it. Refuse to pay to stream it. I see where Gagaloolo is going to stream it so I will wait. Glad it got great ratings but if it is a sad ending or an open ending I probably wont watch. Good thing there have been several really good bls this year: Bon Appetite….Laws of Attraction…Keseki: Dear to Me…Unintentional Love…Only Friends…Not Me the Series….Stay With Me…My Beautiful Man… Mr. Cinderella 2…The Eclipse ….Moonlight Chicken are my personal favorites.
