Brutally Honest
This is my second time watching and I will probably watch again. What I liked most is how it portrayed people of different sexual orientations coexisting together. That’s how the world really is. We work together., frequent the same places, attend the same schools. Also, it may be hard to take but this bl doesn’t fall into the trap of romanticizing love and relationships. It can be hard and downright painful at times. But if it’s meant to be it will happen. I loved all the main actors. There was also a good balance of humor and drama. The music was good too. Overall, it held my interest throughout. I actually know of some males who were like Khai. If you are looking for realism in a bl this is it.Was this review helpful to you?

Thrilling
I can’t say enough about this series. I loved it! The casting was phenomenal. I loved Lee Don Wook in the Guardians. He is even better in this one. Of course I can’t find enough words to say about Kim Bum. I first met him in Boys Over Flowers and I gushed over him in That Winter. In this he is simply breathtaking. I never got bored watching this and it gave me the perfect ending. Kudos to all the actors. I also loved the music and I even have to compliment the stylist. I want more. Please have a sequel. Was this review helpful to you?

Awful
I wanted to like this because ofPerth, Mild and some of the other
cast members but the storyline
became stale and once Jenna and
Jon started having feelings for
each other it became cringey. The best parts to me were the ones
without Jon and Jenna together. From the beginning I found her
character narcissistic and overbearing. So we are to believe that someone who bullied you and
humiliated you when you were fat
and supposedly ugly now becomes
your love interest years later. Are
we supposed to congratulate her
because she motivated you to lose
weight. How shallow? Also, she was
after the uncle and that didn’t pan
out so the nephew becomes fair
game. Exactly what was the message? It has to be more than the
older woman younger man trope.
Perth and the actress playing Jenna
didn’t even match. She looked like
she was robbing the cradle. Nope
nope nope. Not entertaining or
interesting and I love Perth. He’s a
really good actor but he was wasted
in this.

Great BL
Love how this story makes the transfer from college to life in the working world for one. We see how they are still dealing with their relationship and facing challenges together. The supporting cast is great and the music was fitting. There was a good balance between the serious and light moments. This is a very uplifting story. It is very realistic. It takes BLs to another level.I also liked how the female characters were depicted. They were not as silly as they are in some BLs. The entire production was well done. I recommend this bl to anyone interested in this genre. Was this review helpful to you?

Pleasant Surprise
Actually I only watched this because I wanted to see Billkin and PP...but I actually found myself invested in the story and all the characters. Plus I’m a fantasy fan and I think they did a good job in gaining my attention. I found each of the characters interesting in their own right. One reason I gave it a high score was the characterization of the young females. Kudos to portraying strong women who can get hurt and still move forward. I know some were upset about Dao but it was a good portrayal of real life.Of corse Billkin and Pp were great. I’m so glad to see them in a different setting outside of a bl. It’s obvious that they have chemistry. It’s more apparent that each actor is truly talented. I look forward to seeing them in more productions. All in all I think it was a good entertaining series. I recognize some of the other actors from other works and I would watch them in another series. Was this review helpful to you?

Worth Watching
I have three basic criteria for a good bl. 1. No silly, vindictive, immature girlfriends/ex-girlfriends. 2. Chemistry between the male leads. Focusing on their relationship and sticking to the central theme. 3. Side characters/stories that are also related to the central theme and not detracting from the narrative. Oh yes, a 4th criteria is no generic accident/ death at the end as a means of refusing to take a stand on the issue of sexuality. For the most part all of my criteria was met. I enjoyed Season 1. The problem with the ending was resolved with the added segment. The highlights for Season 2 look promising. Using the pandemic as a backdrop was a risk but I think they did a decent job. And adding the transgender side story was a good step in the right direction. The music was okay and the acting of the main characters impressed me. Overall I enjoyed it.

Comical and Cute
The only way I could watch this was to view it as a comedy in the beginning. Surely , the actions of the female teacher were not to be taken seriously. I love Mild as an actor and he is really the only reason I looked at this. He and Pak had good chemistry and I enjoyed them . I enjoyed every scene with them I also recognized several other actors from other bl series and they did good jobs overall. I did enjoy each couple and the last scene with the gay teacher was precious. The music was nothing exceptional but it wasn’t awful. I’m sure there is a message somewhere but it was overshadowed by some of the side characters. I saw no real purpose for the character Thor and the scenes in the gym with the gym owner could have been eliminated completely. Was this review helpful to you?

A Wonderful Love Story
Story: From beginning to end I kept thinking this is what storytelling is all about. Every episode was superb. There was no frivolous side story. No silly females determined to turn a gay straight. If I can believe a ghost and a human can fall in love that is a sure sign the writers accomplished their goal.Acting: Excellent. The male leads chemistry is awesome. The supporting cast was also excellent. The male ghost friend is one of my favorite actors. Again every character was essential to the story and each actor played the part with the right amount of feeling.
Music- Nice...added to the story.
Overall this is now among my favorite BLs. I hope other writers will take note. I am watching for the fourth time. If you ever need a model for how friends and especially parents can best help someone grappling with their sexual identity just these episodes alone will touch your heart. If you have ever suffered a lost of a loved one and wonder how you will go on there is also a message of gratitude and hope .

Outstanding
I have watched this bl at least four times and I love it. The storyline is unique but I really found it intriguing. The performance of the actors was excellent. I really like how the female characters were portrayed. In this bl they are supportive and not depicted as vindictive or just plain stupid like in some of the BLs I’ve watched. I also like that issues were resolved. The music was also good. The music enhanced the scene and not overpowered it. I also like that the main characters did not question their sexual orientation but approached it in a healthy way.Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome
I just finished watching and all I can say is Wow! I have never been a fan of this genre but this was without a doubt a winner. The story pulled me in from the very beginning. I’m so glad the writer stayed true to the main plot/theme. The development of the friendship between the three was superb. The acting was outstanding. Every character was essential to the story. There was not one time when I said why is that character in this story. Also, the horror was not over the top. Again whenever introduced it was within the proper context. And the music was eerily beautiful. Without giving it away I loved the ending. I would love a sequel. Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome
This is one of the best BLs I have seen. The plot and its progression has been beautiful to watch. The chemistry between the two leads has my heart beating from week to week. The production is really first class. All the supporting actors are equally good.,The music is beautifully and sets up each scene just right. There is so many wonderful things to say about this series. I only wish there will be a season 2 and that we will get a happy ending. This series has exceeded my expectations. I will definitely watch it again. I am so happy . The ending was beautiful. This is now one of the BLs at the top of my list. I really loved the scene at the airport and how the father handled the mother. Kudos to all the actors and everyone associated with this series. I don’t think any series is without flaws but in terms of storyline, execution and artistry this series ranksamong the best and is an example of how the bl
genre is evolving.

Super
I have been so frustrated recently at the kdramas that seem to justify and glorify infidelity inmarriages. Thankfully WOM did not take the easy way out. The emotional rollercoaster caused by cheating and infidelity was exposed. The veil was pulled back and no one was left
unaffected. Too often the husbands are given a pass and the wife is portrayed as a weak, whimpering moron. Not so in WOM. Some parts were painful to watch but the impact was felt. The message was clear. Infidelity comes with
consequences and the people you most love may end up as collateral damage. And divorce may not be the road taken by some despite the pain and the anguish. Whether I agreed with all her tactics or not I applaud the writers in giving us a wife who had the balls to fight back. She was downright scary in some parts. Even the depiction of the son was right on point. Too often the impact on the children is glossed over. Right or wrong in a marriage no one comes out unscathed when deceit and lies are exposed.

Worth the Ride
I have watched this movie three times. I love it. All the performances were spot on. From beginning to end I was drawn in and I fell in love with the gambler and his sidekick. The female leads were equally captivating. It was a rollercoaster of emotions but I was so glad to go along for the ride. The musical score was riveting. If you want romance and a story about star crossed lovers this is it. Even the supporting cast were excellent. The scene at the end with the gamblers was a gem. There was a good balance between the dramatic and the romance. Was this review helpful to you?

Lovely
Really enjoyed watching. It was apparent that both characters were troubled and to see the development of their friendship grow was rewarding. Even though most would say this is a bromance the connection between the two is so obvious. There are moments when I felt given different circumstances their relationship could develop into a romance. That’s why I loved the ending. Finding out one was in a coma and somehow was able to make a connection makes the possibility of something more . The story had a few side characters and scenes which didn’t seem to fit but not enough to interfere with the essence of the movie. Was this review helpful to you?

Love the bl
The storyline is ok but I am just not into the bullying segments. Those episodes made me cringe. However bullying is a real issue and as much as I hate this type of storyline it should be dealt with . And Peach is an embarrassment in the beginning but that’s a real part of growing up too. Why do BLs portray the wealthy as strong and those that have to work for a living as weak. Or domineering spoiled male leads. I am watching mainly for InSun, the bl story. In my opinion they carry the series. I just wanted more and more of those two. The actors are awesome and have such great chemistry. The scene where a tear falls from Sun captured his pain so vividly it made me cry. The male and female lead are interesting in a odd way. They seem a bit immature and naive for upper high schoolers. The male lead is more realistic and his acting was actually very good I was so happy to see his character evolve. The music was actually ok . it didn’t overshadow the storyline and provided the right emotion at the right time.
I probably won’t watch again. If I do it will be for the bl segments.
Overall I say give this series a chance. If you think about how it is to be a teenager it gains appeal. All the emotions they experience echo the joy and angst of being a teenager. I really liked the ending.
