I tried to watch the original version but watching back early 2000 drama with lower HD is a challenge for me. Good guy clan is very small in this drama aigooo

I did not get to end ep 4 but there is a flashback where su tian being rushed to hospital in ambulance maybe after an accident. She eventually died i guess. She (su tian) and xin qi were childhood friends with heart symptom i guess
