I think we will never see a Season 2. I will put what i discovered here to the next visitors. Ronald Zhai (Zhai Tianlin) is blacklisted from China.
"In February 2019, questions arose regarding the validity of Zhai’s doctoral work after he was publicly unable to identify CNKI, China’s main academic database, during a livestreaming. The Beijing Film Academy subsequently established an investigation committee, and on 19 February 2019 his PhD degree was revoked for plagiarism. Following the scandal, Zhai has been effectively blacklisted from film and television in China."
I rewatched the ending and noticed that the jacket from which Sigma got the diary out was the same jacket Seo…
They managed to stop the war for two reasons:
1)Found the Sigma in the past and showed to him the kindness. 2)Killed the future one
Seohae did not disappear after that, so its safe to say that the uploader was made, but now, Eddy was kinda the new sigma. But eddy does not want to see the world burn. He has no interest in this, he only wants to take what taesul built. Only after Taesul's death that Seohae disapear.
So we have no war in the timeline because its not what Eddy wants.
I took ep 16 as the successful time loop where they managed to stop the war, where with no Sigma and uploader…
To me, Eddy Kim would be like the new sigma. The 'old' one put a Forbes magazine in front of the mirror, so Taesul's sucess (who only achieved this because of Sigma's investment) can only explained by Eddy making the uploader wih some degree of sucess.
And we have the journal. I agree that the new time loop starts later.
Eddy... why? If the hallucination scene come back to the plane in the first ep, Taesul continues to be a magnate, so the villain was not the cause of his sucess. So who was? Eddy is my first bet.
To me, Sigma's journal, that he is shown to read in the last few minutes, was the Seohae's father journal. (His jacket appears to be the same that her father gave to him)
If Taesul is successful in the 'past', to me, Eddy made the uploader. But not everyone involved in the first time line have too much regrets. Except Eddy.
So, if Sisyphus is the eternal loop and our Kanghan Couple are fighting in every single time line, this time is Eddy the new sigma.
It was a fun read and you are a good writer. but, Sisyphus, for me, it is the best Kdrama that i watched since Kairos. I'm very easy to please (I like both actors and i am weak against the combination between Smart Male Leads and Strong female leads). And has, by far, a memorable villain. (I will check the work of Kim Byung Chul after i finish the drama)
Another thing that i like is the chemistry between the leads.
PS: But i know that its hard for some people. As someone pointed "I really really like the plot, but the directing, details, fighting scenes etc is really not that great." For me, the technical aspects can be a huge let down.
But as i said, i'm very easy to please if the requirements are good.
Hi, I have some questions, the romance is a must-have in this drama? Or the romance in the webtoon was good? Thanks…
I think Asian Wiki's synopsis shed light in the matter: The male lead (Park Hae Jin) was the boyfriend of the female lead (the criminal profiler one). I did not read the webtoon though.
I'm kinda amazed this girl got as far as she has as a detective. She blatantly dismisses any idea that she disagrees…
In the first world, i think she was on the bottom of the force (even helping with traffic duty). Its more likely she got lucky with some cases and got to work in the division with her detective friend. In the second world, her husband is a prosecutor, so...
I'm too leaning for these two options. He did or knows who did and is protecting the person. And Beom Jin doesn't…
As some other people in another forum said: Beom Jin doesn't like get his hands dirty, so even if he wants to kill someone he will not do the deed himself, and see him go to great lenghts to protect the secret, he knows something.
He is more like a sociopath than psychopath, but i can be wrong. Beom Jin is too unpredictable.
What the hell is Beom Jin? Out of nowhere he's protecting and caring about Byung Ho? I don't buy this shit. I…
I'm too leaning for these two options. He did or knows who did and is protecting the person. And Beom Jin doesn't leave things to chance, every move is calculated. Perhaps he knows about the deal between Bundle (Porter) and the dean? Thats why he approached him?
About Beom Jin and Soo Ah i, too, have two theories:
1) He was using her to get dirt on his father, whom he doesn't like but need (We know that he knew that she was an escort). So he can get the upperhand in any negotiation between the two. Father discovered and put an end to things.
(We even have a scene about Soo Ah talking to Tae Ra about the delusions of her. For me, the Soo Ah and Beom Jin's relationship were business like)
2) Soo Ah approached him first. He did some digging and put an end to things because would become so chaotic, and we know that Beom Jin likes status quo.
The first Sax was made in 19th Century, so i dont think that was a mistake. And that scene is one of the best in cinematography, the choice was on point.
And i too love Detective L, it was a refreshment in the dramas with the genre this year.
Is it only a bunch of different cases, or is there a background story too?I feel like if it's only different cases,…
They have a mainstream story about the main villain. In some cases we know more about the grand scheme of that said villain, so is not all a bunch of different cases.

And Eddy? And the New Sigma? They will make something again? It was a ending to make the viewers mad with conspiracies.
Kim Byung Chul is one hell of an actor. The way he portrays sigma... Just WOW. I will be check his works after the drama.
Hands down for Sigma. The way he manipulates ppl is top notch.
